Section A3a-3c An Accidental Invention教学主题Unit 6 When was it invented?Section A 3a-3c An Accidental Invention课时1教材分析本单元以“发明(Inventions)”为核心话题,围绕本单元语言交际功能项目“谈论发明的历史(talk about the history of inventions)”, 逐步展开各项听说读写的活动,使学生了解历史上的发明对人
2、类生活的影响,拓展学生的视野,激发学生发明创造的欲望。本节课是该单元的第二课时,主要是通过学习茶的发明的故事在文章语篇中理解、学习和运用目标语言。通过学习,能用含有被动语态的句子表述某项发明对人类的影响,讲述一件事物发明史和发展历程。教学目标1. 知识目标: (1).通过预习理解掌握词汇:accidental, by accident, ruler, boil, remain, smell, trade, doubt, without doubt.(2). 通过阅读课文掌握被动语态的过去时态:was/were +pp.(3). 通过学习、阅读了解茶的发展史、历程和作用。2.技能目标:(1).
3、Be able to grasp and use the key vocabulary and target language.(2). To learn to grasp and use the passive voice of the pasttense.(3).
