1、Unit6 When was it invented?课题Unit6 When was it invented?教学内容Period One Section A (1a-1c)教材分析本单元主要是围绕着“inventions”这个话题,通过我们周围经常使用的“发明物”的历史来开阔眼界,丰富学生的阅历,使学生养成勤于思考,善于总结的好习惯,同时学习并掌握被动语态的有关知识。学情分析1.学生在八年级和九年级已经学过了一般现在时及情态动词的被动语态,有一定的基础,因此可以通过对被动语态的分析导入到今天所需学习的一般过去时的被动语态;2.九年级的学生有比较明确的学习动机和积极主动的学习态度;3.九年级
2、的学生有能力也有兴趣在周末通过上网查找相关发明物和发明家的一些资料。教 学 目 标 三维目标知识与技能l 知识目标:学会谈论发明的历史。l 能力目标:认识一些发明的事物;会读会背第九单元的单词并会用过去时的被动语态造句。重点单词: invent, calculator 拓展词汇:inventor, invention重点短语:was/were invented in; was/were invented by;need to do sth; take a history class 重点句子:1)I think the calculator was invented before the co
3、mputer.2)The telephone was invented in 1876;2)But in those days, TVs were really expensive, and we couldnt afford one. 重点语法:被动语态The Passive Voice 过程与方法采用Role-play和Discussion 的学习策略。充分利用多媒体等教学设备,设计与本课话题相关的情景,如不同种类的发明,人物,实物等等。围绕着本单元的教学目标,设计一些贴近学生实际的教学任务,让学生谈论身边的发明如电话、电脑、汽车、茶叶、篮球以及一些当代发明的看法;让学生根据所学知识,自己

16、,因此能积极参与小组讨论,列举各种感兴趣的发明。因为之前对被动语态有所涉及,故能通过自主观察、归纳“一般过去时被动语态”;本节课对教材进行了整合,教学更符合学生的实际情况,课堂流程清晰,学生参与面广,设计发明的任务培养了他们的合作精神。通过四个学生扮演发明家并让其他同学来猜出他的发明物的英语风采展示,提升了学生浓厚的学习兴趣。整堂课实施了分层教学,使英语学困生也能体验成功。教学过程中设计的Tasks比较贴近学生的生活,他们能积极参与并能顺利完成,课堂气氛非常活跃,教学效果较好! 2待完善之处在时间允许的情况下,如果能在课堂上鼓励学生展示自己的发明,对他们的启发可能会更大。 在通过语言材料提炼语法知识时缺乏高度,若能适时对“被动语态”进行全面系统的讲解,相信整堂课会更加出彩! 6
