Clerks dont have stress and they dont make any money, usually not even enough to live on, unless they are at a fancier retailer like The Bay or Sears. There are all kinds of other jobs also called clerk but I have to admit I do not know anything

42、about them. But they do have a nice, safe, routine tedium to comfort them when they feel like the world is turning upside down.
