2、有一定的词汇基础。难点敎學方法1、选用典型的例句来敎授方法2、用引导的敎學方法来激发學生學习兴趣敎學环节敎學过程导入用两个有趣的短语a fat cat肥猫和when pigs fly当猪在飞来引出在阅读中往往不能直接看字面意思,需要结合文本进行猜测词义,继而又用heavy+名词的六个短语来调动學生猜词义的兴趣和信心,从而导出猜测词义的两种常用策略。知识讲解（难点突破）阅读中猜测词义的策略主要有:一、利用上下文的语境；二、利用构词法。一、利用上下文的语境猜词义,具体有:定义法、举例法、因果法、语境法、相似法。每一种方法都结合相关例句来讲解。1、定义法,用以下两个例句来讲解:a.His uncle
3、 is a zoologist,an expert who does research on animals. b.The herdsman who looks after sheep,earns about 650yuan a year.2、举例法,罗列出提示词:like,for example,for instance,such as。接着用两个例句来讲解:a.Cauliflower,like many other kinds of vegetables can be grown in this country. b.On the farm,they maily raise poultry
4、 such as chickens,ducks and geese for their eggs and meat.3、因果法,列出提示词:because,as,as a result,therefore, so that,since,for,so that。通过两个例句来讲解:a.She loves reading books,she didnt here anything because she was engrossed in her reading. b.The river is so turbid that it is impossible to see the bottom eve
5、n when it is shallow.4、语境法,选用阅读中的一道练习来讲解:If you explore the wall more carefully,you will find many other interesting things,like a happy face,a crying face and other patterns.5、相似法,用以下两个例句进行讲解:a.Your gross or total weight must be within certain limits.b.All the other members are of the same opinions
6、.They are unanimous.二、利用构词法来猜词义,主要介绍了合成法和派生法。1、讲解合成法时,通过较容易单词home而构成的六个合成词为例,说明合成法的含义和猜词义的方法。接着用8个合成词来考察學生是否掌握。2、讲解派生法时,用nonjudgmental这个长单词为例,通过找词根,分析后缀和前缀,就可猜出这个长单词的含义,从而引出构词法的含义及猜词方法。接着罗列了un-,dis-,im-,mis-,-less,-ness等常见的前缀和后缀,再通过例句来考察學生掌握情况。最后总结了本课的基本知识框架。课堂练习（难点巩固）1.
