8、re our ideas,interests and concerns with teachers and others. share意为“分享”,share还可以表示“与他人共用;允许他人使用;与他人均分某物;与他人共同承担责任或费用;与他人共有相同的经历或观点等;告诉他人自己的观点、秘密或困难等”,share多用于句式share sth. with sb.中,意为“与某人分享、共用或分担某物”。 concern用复数形式,意为“事务”。4.In December,we decided to raise money for an organization that provides food

10、。provide sb.with sth.=provide sth.for sb.意为“为某人提供某物”5.We sold tickets and,in the end,we made about $300. in the end相当于at the end,都可以表示“最终,最后,结果”。 【辨析】in the end,finally,at last (1)in the end表示经过许多变化、困难或捉摸不定的情况之后,某事才发生,可与finally和at last换用,但不能置于动词前。in the end可用于预测,可与将来时连用,而finally和at last不能。(2)finally

13、chool-wide activities,including social events,community projects and school reforms. including为介词,意为“包括”。 【辨析】including,include (1)including为介词,一般前面有逗号,后面直接接宾语,含有补充说明之意。(2)include为动词,前面要有主语,侧重指被包含的是整体的一部分。Conjunctions:A conjunction is a word or phrase that shows the relationship between two words,ph

14、rases or clauses.“And” is used to show an agreement between words/clauses. “But” is used to show a disagreement between words/clauses. “So” is used to show a reason between words/clauses. “Or” is used to show an agreement or disagreement between words/clauses. 4)分组活动Work in groups of three to comple
