1、Unit 8 When is your birthday?Section B (2a-2c)本节课选自人教版七年级上册Unit8 Section B (2a-2c)。本单元的话题是“谈论日期”，通过询问他人的生日，学生掌握序数词的构成及日期的表达，进而能够谈论其他活动及日期。日期的表达对于学生来说是一个难点，但本单元的日期教学在今后的英语学习中又占重要地位，所以课堂上教师要充分利用课本资源，营造英语氛围，让学生们在轻松的环境下高效学习。本节课为本单元的第五课时阅读课，学生将能通过图片谈论各项校园活动，读懂阅读文章并总结出“通知”这一文体的基本结构，最终通过小组活动设计出新的“通知”，从而达到以
2、读促写的目的。课程以本学期同学们开展的各项学校活动导入话题，通过谈论本校活动过渡到目标文本，结合略读细读对文本有宏观微观理解，最后由同学们设计下学期校园活动进行知识输出。课堂各环节衔接流畅，联系紧密。通过本节课学习，希望能帮助同学们在校园生活中劳逸结合，鼓励他们积极参与各项活动。Step 1: Lead inThe class begins with the question shown on PPT-“Can you use some adjectives to describe your school life?” to lead in the topic today. Then the
3、teacher shares some pictures about school activities held this term with the students, such as ENJOY AI Competition, Sports Day and so on. On the one hand, students can review the phrases they learned during the lass class. On the other hand, it can help students be more familiar with todays topic.

Fast-readingStudents skim the passage and summarize the structure of the notice by themselves. Students skim the passage again and get the main id
