1、Unit 8 When is your birthday?Section B (2a-2c)本节课选自人教版七年级上册Unit8 Section B (2a-2c)。本单元的话题是“谈论日期”,通过询问他人的生日,学生掌握序数词的构成及日期的表达,进而能够谈论其他活动及日期。日期的表达对于学生来说是一个难点,但本单元的日期教学在今后的英语学习中又占重要地位,所以课堂上教师要充分利用课本资源,营造英语氛围,让学生们在轻松的环境下高效学习。本节课为本单元的第五课时阅读课,学生将能通过图片谈论各项校园活动,读懂阅读文章并总结出“通知”这一文体的基本结构,最终通过小组活动设计出新的“通知”,从而达到以

2、读促写的目的。课程以本学期同学们开展的各项学校活动导入话题,通过谈论本校活动过渡到目标文本,结合略读细读对文本有宏观微观理解,最后由同学们设计下学期校园活动进行知识输出。课堂各环节衔接流畅,联系紧密。通过本节课学习,希望能帮助同学们在校园生活中劳逸结合,鼓励他们积极参与各项活动。Step 1: Lead inThe class begins with the question shown on PPT-“Can you use some adjectives to describe your school life?” to lead in the topic today. Then the

3、teacher shares some pictures about school activities held this term with the students, such as ENJOY AI Competition, Sports Day and so on. On the one hand, students can review the phrases they learned during the lass class. On the other hand, it can help students be more familiar with todays topic.

4、Step 2: Pre-readingStudents make some predictions about the text with the help of some clues given and three questions presented.Step 3: While-reading 1. Fast-readingStudents skim the passage and summarize the structure of the notice by themselves. Students skim the passage again and get the main id

5、ea of this notice. Meanwhile, the teacher shares the reading strategy with the students. 2. Careful-readingStudents finish three tasks to get the whole understanding of the text. The teacher selects a student to help put the cards on the blackboard.3. RetellingStudents retell the passage together ac

6、cording to the blackboard design. Step 4: Post-readingStudents are divided into groups of six to help the Students Union design 5 school activities for students next semester. After designing, each group must select a leader to announce their notice. At the end of the class, students will have posit

7、ive attitudes towards different kinds of school activities and take an active part in them to become better.Step 5: HomeworkReview what you have learned today.Polish your notices.Blackboard design:教学反思:1.本节课为阅读课,前期准备充分,课中环节流畅完整,做到了首尾呼应。2.板书设计为本课程一个亮点,充分结合文章内容,设计鱼骨图,主线清晰明了。3.针对班型,为提高课堂阅读效率,结合导学案使用,能够让学生迅速集中注意力。4.导入环节速度过快,学生参与度不高,教师课堂语言较多,要把课堂还给学生,让学生进行结对练习,通过本学期举行的一系列活动操练本课句型,为读后做铺垫,同时让学生真切体验本学期的尽管忙碌但仍快乐有意义!5.读中给予学生充分时间,速读整篇课文并自行总结归纳出文章结构。6.板书继续精进,将时间与活动分开粘贴,上部分为时间,下部分为具体活动内容,更加清楚。7.读后输出学生犯错让班上学生纠错,既能让学生保持课堂在线,也有利于锻炼他们的纠错能力。
