1、Unit 13 Were trying to save the earth.教学设计 Section B (1a1e) Teaching aims (教学目标):(1) Knowledge goals(语言知识目标)Master the key words and phrases below:recycle, paper napkins, plastic bags, stop riding in cars ,turn off the lights , turn off the shower, recycle books and paper etc.(2) Ability goals (能力目标
2、)Talk about saving the earth and improve speaking , listening and writing skills.(3) Moral goals(情感目标)Realize the importance of protecting the earth.Like to do something to save the earth.Teaching important points(教学重点):Master the key words and phrases above . Teaching difficult points (教学难点)be able
3、 to talk pollution and environmental protection with others.Teaching aids:畅言教学系统、微课、课件Analysis of the students(学情分析):本单元的语言功能目标是talk pollution and environmental protection. 这一课时是Section B 部分第一课时,学生在学习Section A部分时已经学习到了环境污染与保护的相关词汇,同时还学习了一篇关于环保的短文save the sharks,为本节课的学习扫除了障碍,也为本节课的听说练习起到了很好的铺垫。Teachi
4、ng procedures:Step 1. Greeting and aim showing.Greet the students and show learning aims to students.设计目的:通过出示本节课的主题和学习目标,让学生明确通过本节课学习所要掌握的内容,做到有目的地学习。Step 2.Lead-in.Show some pictures about pollution and let students talk about what kind of pollution it is.设计目的:通过使用白板软件出示隐藏的图片,调动学生的兴趣,同时通过问答让学生熟悉学过
5、的词汇。Step 3.Presentation.(1)Watch the video of micro lesson.Watch the video of the micro lesson the only earth,let the students know the importance of protecting the earth.Talk with classmates about the feelings on environmental pollution.设计目的:通过让学生观看微课视频the only earth,让他们意识到环境污染的严重性。(2)watch some pi
6、ctures and make conversations with friends.Show some pictures about environmental protection and talk about them.Rank the items in 1a from easiest to the most difficult and make conversations with friends. 设计目的:让学生通过描述图片了解到保护环境的措施,并渗透情感教育,教育学生要从身边力所能及的事情做起,学会节约,学会保护环境。Step 4. Exercises.1.Read the wo
7、rd cards and Translate into English.2.Match the pictures with phrases.设计目的:通过使用畅言教学系统中的翻翻卡和连线习题,让学生巩固本节课的重点词汇,同时让学生自己动手操作,调动学生积极性。Step 5. Listening practice.(1) Listen and check the things that Julia and Jack talk about.(2) Listen again. Check the things that Julia is doing now, the things she will
8、do and the things she would never do.设计目的:通过听力及判断练习,提高学生的听力能力,并强化学生的环保意识。Step 6. Summary and exercises.1. Write a short composition .2. Summarize the main content and do exercises. 设计目的:通过写作练习,让学生进一步巩固本节课所学内容,同时通过课堂练习,进一步强化本课所学内容。Step 7.Proverbs showing.Show some proverbs about environmental protection and read.设计目的:通过谚语放送这一环节,让学生了解到与本节课主题内容相关的谚语,拓宽学生的知识面。板书设计: Unit 13 Were trying to save the earth.
