1、Module 2 Unit 3 Language in useTeaching aims:By the end of the class, students will be able to understand the present perfect tense and use it in proper situation.Teaching key points and difficulties: Different sentence patterns and the changing forms of irregular verbs.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Le
2、ad in1) Ask students to watch a video (Maidou is at home) and find out the answer to the question: What does Maidou say to his mother ? 2) Get students to complete the sentences in their worksheets, and then check the answers: I have finished all my homework. I have cleaned all the rooms. I have eat
3、en up all the food. Tell students these sentences are used with Present Prefect tense. Step 2 Presentation1) Help students understand the meaning and usage of Present Perfect tense by showing them pictures, sentences and a diagram.2) Divide the three sentences into three parts, and ask students to o
4、bserve the sentences parts and sum up the structure of Present Perfect tense: have +P.P. 3) Show three screenshots from the video and ask students to complete the sentences such as: Maidoufinished all his homework. And then have students observe the sentences and get the structure of Present Perfect
5、 tense: has +P.P. Ask students when to use “has” so as to get the structure: has (三单) + P.P. After that, help students sum up the structure of Present Perfect tense: have/has + P.P. 4) Show two sentences and change them into Yes-no Questions. Get students to watch the change of the sentence structur
6、es and tell the rule of changing a sentence into a Yes-no Question. And then change the sentences into negative ones and have students watch the change of the sentence structures and tell the rule of changing a sentence into a negative one. After that let students change the sentence patterns, and r
7、ead the sentences aloud. Step 3 Practice1)Have students fill in the blanks to complete the sentences. 2) Let students use the words in brackets to complete the conversations . 3)Ask students to fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in brackets to complete the short passage. Remind s
8、tudents of the time phrases in the passage. Step 4 Group work Show some pictures of books with names, and tell students that Sally is a book lover and has read many books, and then have students have a group work: Choose a group leader. The group leader asks group members what books they have already read, and then complete the chart and make a report.Homework:Use Present Perfect tense to write about what you have done for your parents last birthday.3
