2、0 Why was it built (第一课时 教学设计)一、学情分析本单元的话题是国内外著名建筑物,该话题贴近学生生活,并进行了知识拓展,开阔学生 眼界,充分激发了学生兴趣。本单元的教学重点是理解并学会运用有关建筑物和景点表达所 需的词汇和句型;能够听懂建筑物的建造时间、所在位置及其他简单信息;学会表达有关著 名建筑物的修建历史;能够读懂著名建筑物的简单介绍;能正确运用一般过去时的被动语态 简述建筑物的历史。本单元的设计与实施的对象是会计专业学生,该班总体学习气氛较好, 大多数学生对英语感兴趣,希望学好英语,但大局部同学不敢开口说英文。针对此现象,教 师可以考虑通过小组合作学习、同伴互助的

3、方式引发更多学生自主学习,使更多学生愿意接 受挑战,尽力完成各项语言任务。二、教材分析.教学内容本课时系教材英语2(基础模块 高教版)第十单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking两局部,具体内容为:了解有关著名的建筑物,听懂关于著名建筑物的建造时 间、所在位置及其他简单信息。掌握有关表达建筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单信息的词 汇、句型。1 .教学重点、难点教学重点听懂关于著名建筑物的简单信息,并掌握有关表达建筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单 信息的词汇、句型。教学难点获得在相对真实的情境下用合适的方式和语句询问和回答有关建筑物信息的能力。三、教学目标

4、.知识目标(1) 了解世界著名建筑物的专有名词,如:the Palace Museum, the Golden Gate Bridge, Stonehenge, Sydney Opera House, the Pisa Tower, the Taj Mahal etc.(2)掌握与著名建筑物有关的词汇和短语,如 guide, tourist, design, locate, revolution, pyramid, stair, expert, keep out, collection, congress, include, more than, rebuild, describe, desc

5、ription, electricity, etc(3)掌握表达建筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单信息的词汇、句型。如:asking for some information of the famous building:Where was it built?When was it built?Who designed it ?How was it built?Why was it built?.What was it used for?How long was it? Giving some information of the famous building:It was started i

6、nIt was completed in It was designed by.能力目标学生能听懂有关听懂关于著名建筑物的简单信息。学生能用所学句型简单表达建筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单信息的词汇、句型。2 .情感目标学生能够了解古今中外的著名建筑物,开阔眼界。四、教学步骤Step One Lead-in (7-8m)1. Show some symbols and let the students tell which country the famous building symbolstands for.多媒体图片展示国家的著名标志建筑物,猜想对应的国家,如下图(设计意图:通过图片吸引

7、学生注意力,调动学生兴趣使其快速进入学习状态自然引入著名 建筑物这个主题)图片与教材的图片紧密相关,根据学生的实际情况,进行了调整)Have students tell the names of the famous building or match the great buildings with their pictures)让学生试着说说上述图片的建筑物的名称(根据学生的学情,大局部学生只能说出 Great Wall, the Big Ben )因此可以在图片展示的同时,出现著名建筑物的英文,也可 以让学生中英快速配对。2. Groups in four(1 ) Choose one

8、of the famous building , and describe it in English . (Just three sentences)(2) Let the other group guess the name of the building.(设计意图:小组活动,通过简单描述著名建筑物,对局部熟悉的建筑物用已学的知识进 行了表达,为进一步学习本单元的任务作了形式和语言上的铺垫,以便更好地掌握表达建 筑物的建造时间、所在位置等简单信息的词汇、句型。培养学生的口头表达能力,本环节 可以让学生课前准备)listen to three guides describe three b
