2、re because I have done it before.状语的位置比较灵活，可以位于句首、句末或句中。二、什么是状语从句？状语从句在复合句中作状语，修饰另外一个句子。状语从句可以表示时间、条件、原因、地点、目的、结果、让步、方式、比较等意义。例如： Many tourists like to travel in Chongqing. （简单句）There are delicious food and beautiful girls there. （简单句）Many tourists like to travel in Chongqing because there are delic
3、ious food and beautiful girls there.（原因状语从句）下面，分别来看各个状语从句的用法 （一）时间状语从句：1、when，while, as的用法和区别When引导的时间状语从句，当主句为一般现在时的时候，从句为一般现在时或现在进行时。例如When you are crossing the street, you must be careful. 你过马路的造句练习：看电影的时候请将手机调成静音。饿的时候可以点外卖。When引导的时间状语从句，当主句是现在进行时的时候，从句为一般现在时或现在进行时。例如：The fans are shouting excite
4、dly when they see their idol.When引导的时间状语从句，当主句是一般将来时的时候，从句用一般现在时。例如 1) Ill wake you up when teacher comes in.造句练习：（1）当我到了美国，我会给你写信的。（2）当你老了(PPT中超链接该歌曲，播放前面两句) 当你老了，头发白了，睡意昏沉，我还是依然爱你。 当你老了，走不动了，炉火旁打着盹回忆青春，我还是依然爱你。(感兴趣的同学可以回去找出叶芝的when you are old的英文诗歌，对照当你老了这首歌来读一读)When引导的时间状语从句，当主句为一般过去时的时候，从句为一般过去时或
5、过去进行时。 例如：When he was a child he was always trying out new ideas. 他小时候就常常试验一些新的设想。When I got to Chongqing, I finally understood why it was called “Mountain City”. 当我来到了重庆，我终于明白了为什么它被称作“山城”。总结：when引导的从句的谓语动词可以是延续性的，也可以是非延续性的While引导时间状语从句常译为“与同时，在期间”They rushed in while/when we were discussing problem
6、s.While the basketball players are competing in the court, the fans are cheering for them.as引导时间状语从句可以表达“正当，一边一边，随着”等意思。如：We get wiser as we get older.Helen heard the story as she was washing the clothes.注意 ：1）when和as都可用于非延续性的动词，而while不能2）when可表示瞬间，也可表示时间段 ，与主句所陈述的动作、事情可同时发生，也可有先后；while常用于连接同时进行的两个延
7、续性动词相伴随而发生的动作；as不指先后，尤指两个动作或事件同时发生。如： The film had been on when we arrived.My mother was cooking while I was doing my homework. As I left the house, I forgot the key.练习：用when, while或as填空1. 23、关系的语气最强，用来回答why的问句，所引出的原因往往是听话人所不知道或最感兴趣的，because引导的原因状语从句往往比主句显得更重要。 because是连词，后面跟句子。如：We all love her because she is too funny.Thats because I was too nervous.because of是复合介词，后面接名词、代词、动名词等不接完整的句子。 He is here because of you. He lost his job because of his age. She was crying because of what he sai
24、d注意：because因为，引导原因状语从句，so所以，用于并列句，不能同时出现在一个句子里，只能用其一。如：Because he was tired, he couldnt walk here. = He was tired, so he couldnt walk here. 【2015浙江杭州中考】We didnt enjoy the day the weather was so bad.
