The content of my lesson is Oxford primary English 4A Unit2, i ll start with talking about the teaching material.一、 The teaching material in a toy shopis
2、 Oxford primary English 4A Unit2. Its the first classperiod . the content this class is very closed to children s life,emphasizes their interest and experience. The important points are to know the words about animals and use the sentences :“whats this? Whats that ?Its a ”二、 Teaching aims on studyin
3、g the teaching material and analyzing the regulation of childrens growing of mind, and according to English syllabus and new lesson standard,I put forward the teaching objectives below 1.aims on the knowledge： Students could understand and read the words : a dog, a cat, a tiger, a panda, a rabbit, a
4、nd apply the sentences: Whats this? Whats that? Its a and distinguish between this and that During the process of games and communications, students could improve their abilities of listening and speaking 2. Aims on the process and method： By guessing the riddles and working in pairs, students could
5、 learn how to observe , think independently and learn to communicate and co-operate. 3. Aims on the emotion Students could know that animals are our best friends. We should cherish animals and get along well with them, even nature.三、 About important and difficult points the important point of this c
6、lass is that students could understand and speak the words:a panda, a rabbit,a tiger while the difficult and important point is: students could apply the sentences:“whats this ? Whats that ? Its a ”and distinguish between this and that四、 The teaching methodsTo help students get a better understandin
7、g of the words and sentences ,develop their team spirit in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere, i will adopt the teaching methods below:situational approach ,communicative method And group cooperation method . I will set up a real situation by the modern electricity teaching equipments and animal car
8、ds ,in this way, the students can talk in pairs or in groups,they can say freely and neednt worry about making any mistakes. 五、 The teaching process In order to make the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, under the principle of “regard students as the subject, the teacher as
9、dominant”, I divide the teaching process into four steps(Ill finish this class in 4steps )Step 1 warm up 5 minutes Listen to a song old MacDonald had a farm I will say :boys and girls, do you like songs? Now lets listen to a song ( to begin a class by a song could motivate students passion(rise stud
10、ents interest). And the song is related to the content this class , which will lay the foundation for this class.)Step 2 Presentation and practice 20 minutes Firstly, After the song , i ll ask students 2 questions: what animals do the farm have? what animal do you like in your daily life? to go on m
11、y class. Maybe they will say i like a dog. I like a cat . Ill show them the animal picture and teach the new words:dog , cat . (this part is mainly to help students speak out english,to enhance their confidence of english learning and realize the communicative function of english) Then , i will adop
12、t the cartoon characters children like to help student learn the animal words: tiger, rabbit, panda,dog and a cat .Because students have learned the words : dog、cat in grade 3, i wont regard them as important points. I will say : students, the sheep family bought some animal toys yesterday. Lets hav
13、e a look,OK? i will show them ppt and ask them :who is he? Students will answer me loudly: he is 喜羊羊。I will continue to ask: then Do you know :what animal did he buy yesterday? Can you guess? Ill give them hint by a riddle . I wll say 喜羊羊s animal has two long,long ears and it likes carrot. students
14、will quickly know and say : its a rabbit .In this way, i will teach them the new word: a rabbit . (The cartoon characters are popular among students. It can attract students eyes and rise their interest. And the riddle could help students think Independently and observe the daily life) Because rabbi
15、t is a new word, i will let students read it groups or in a line one by one and correct their pronunciation . Next, i will use the similar methods : cartoon character,riddle, acting to teach the animal words: tiger, panda, cat and dog . In order to review the new words , i will play a game called :
16、whats missing? That means i will pass the new words quickly and then show them some words , to let them find out the missing one. The way of playing a game not only reviews the new knowledge but also attract students attention ,rise their interest. Next , i will ask students : whats this pointing to
17、 the animal card to teach students the sentences : whats this ? It s a Then i will continue to communicate with students using the things in classroom. I will point to the blackboard, desk, book, rabbit to ask students : whats this? To help students practice the sentences. Then i will ask students t
18、o work in pairs to communicate . (group cooperation method is a good way to boost ou their eagerness to participate and help students learn how to cooperate ,develop their team spirit , improve their abilities of listening and speaking) Then , i will go on my class by asking : whats that ? While poi
19、nting to door at the end of classroom to teach the sentence. Then i will point to something at a distance and ask students: whats that? Next , i will ask students to think about : why do i use the sentence: whats that? Instead of whats this? by asking this question, to help students to think and com
20、pare to distinguish the words : this and that by themselves.This shows us students are the subjects of learning, the teacher just the helper.Step 3 consolidation 10 minutes According to the forgetting curve of 艾宾浩斯, i will spend about 10 minutes reviewing the knowledge this class by games to help st
21、udents grasp words and sentences effectively. And the students are very young,they can not concentrate on one thing for a long time,so in this part,games are appropriate Game : role playingFirstly ,I will use 6 animal cards and some multiply words to make students feel that they are in a toy shop. I
22、 will act the customer, one student acts the shop assistance. By the role playing between students and teacher to apply the sentences in a real situation and 做了示范. S ：can l help you ? T: yes , i want to buy an animal toy. Whats this?(whats that ?) S : its a T : can i have a look ?S : yes, here you a
23、re T : how lovely ! How much is it ?S : its T : here you are S : thank you Next, I will set a situation. Im the manager of a toy shop . I want to employ an attendant by a show. I will choose 5 students and give them 胸牌. Other students are the customers. The aim to learn english is to use.By the role
24、 playing, students could not only apply the words and sentences freely but also realize the importance of english in real life. To hance their interest and confidence of learning english.Step 4 give the homework 5 minutes A chant This , this , whats this ? Its a (rabbit r- a- b- b- i -t rabbit ) Tha
25、t , that, whats that? Its a ( tiger t-i-g-e-r tiger) Can l have a look? Yes yes here you are how lovely ! （chants are loved by students and easy to remember , could help students review the content they learned.） Give the homework : T :here are some other shops: a clothes shop , a Fruit shop, a food
26、 shop. Work in pairs and choose a topic you like to make a dialogue. Show us in the front of classroom next class. (Thats the content i teach this class, that will help students review the words and sentences. Besides that, the homework takes students interest and the needs of real life into conside
27、ration.it help students improve their abilities of speaking and develop their interest of english learning)六、 The design of blackboard Unit 2 in a toy shop Whats that? Its a Whats this ? 图画 a dog 图画 a cat 图画 a tiger 图画 a rabbit 图画 a panda （the design of blackboard is clear and simple. it could show us the main content and help students to catch the important points of this class , so its benefit for us to achieve the teaching objections and break through the teaching important and difficult points.）
