1、-PEP小学六年级英语上册Unit 5 What does he do 教学设计Unit 5 What does he do?A lets talk教学设计一、 整体设计思路本课通过歌曲 What do you want to do? 引出本课主话题:职业。在热身环节,教师通过brainstorm及呈现学生之前学习过的与职业有关的单词如:teacher,doctor,nurse,basketball player 等帮助学生复习旧,并归纳总结了部分与职业有关的单词构词法,进行语法渗透,为输出环节做准备。在新授环节,通过Sarah 和Oliver 谈论父母日父母能不能来引出父母的职业,学生通过预
2、知问题,观看动画,回答问题,练习对话等活动整体对对话进行感知和理解,对主句型:What does he do? Hes a businessman. What does your mother do? Shes a head teacher.进行练习和应用。在练习环节,学生通过听音、跟读、自读、表演对话等方式进行练习,再次过程中,教师会及时示范引导及纠音。在输出及拓展环节,通过给出首字母让学生猜读主句型,检查了学生对主句型的掌握程度。本课同时利用Oliver 的一封交友邮件综合了前几个单元学过的爱好,能做什么,及本课所学父母职业让学生描述了自己的 dream job。让学生从小有对自己兴趣爱好
3、的发展有了延伸,也培养了学生的职业规划意识。二、教学目标 知识与能力目标: 1学生能够理解对话大意,并用正确的语音语调朗读对话;2能够在情景中运动第三人称单数的特殊疑问句:What does he do?/ What does your mother do? Hes a businessman./ Shes a head teacher.进行问答;3. 能够在情境中理解 businessman, head teacher, other countries 的意义。 情感目标: 1能从不同视角认识职业,明白能从事某些职业应具备的条件,构思自己的职业梦。三、教学重点和难点1重点:学生能够在情景中理
4、解对话,朗读对话,掌握四会句型; 2难点:综合运用关于爱好,职业的主句型描述父母职业并构建自己的职业梦。四、教学过程一、Warming up1Greetings T: How are you? Whats your hobby? 做好课堂准备,询问爱好拉近师生距离。2. Enjoy a song: What do you want to be?T: Whats the song about? A. parents B. jobs 引出本课话题:职业3T: I am a teacher. So teacher is my job.Brainstorm:What job do you know?
5、Ss: 学生回忆与职业有关单词,教师利用课件呈现部分加“er”动词,渗透构词法:动词+ er = 从事某种职业的人二、Presentation 1. Lets try.呈现家长日图片,引出动词第三人称单数特殊疑问句。T: People who do these jobs are very busy. Today is parents day. Sarahs father is very busy, too. Can he come today? Listen and circle.2Lets talk. (1). T: Sarahs father is a doctor. Hes very b
6、usy. What about Olivers parents? What do they do? Watch the video and answer.学生观看视频回答问题:What does Olivers father do?Ss: Hes a businessman. 出示词卡,教读,板书:businessman T: We can also ask like this: What does he do?出示句卡,教读,教师示范一问一答,生结对练习。 (2). other countries 的引出 T:Olivers father is a businessman. Hes very
7、 busy. He often goes to other countries. 出示中国地图和世界地图,教师指着中国地图:This is China. Its our country. 教读 country. 指着 Canada, America, Australia: Theyre countries. T: China is our mother country. Canada, America and Australia are other countries. 用 mother country 和 other countries 作比较,学生能够理解other countries 是
8、其他国家的意思,同时 mother other 渗透了语音。 (3). T: Olivers father is a businessman. What about Olivers mother? Is she a businesswoman? Listen and answer. What does your mother do? Shes a head teacher. 出示词卡、句卡,教读,板书。 Ss work in pairs.(4). Shell be here today. T: Who will come for Olivers parents day? Ss: His mot
9、her. T: Why? Because Oliver says, shell be here today. (教读)三、Practice1. Listen and repeat (处理文本)2. Read by yourself.3. Work in pairs and act it out. 四、Production 1. Game: Do you have a good memory? 出示本课主句型的单词首字母,学生根据提示读出句子。 2. Do you want to be Olivers pen pal? T: Oliver wants to be your friend. He
10、writes an email to you. 教师给学生读一遍Oliver 的来信,通过提问问题的方式让学生进一步理解邮件内容,如:Whats Olivers hobby? What does his father do? What does his mother do? What does Oliver want to be? What should he do? 帮学生梳理在这一环节中,他们该从哪几个方面来描述自己的职业梦。 Ss write their dream job and then form a group and share their dream job. Then Ss
11、need to do a report. 3. 情感渗透: T: Today, all of you did a good job. I want to share with you some pictures. Lets have a look. Show pictures of some hard working people. T: Different jobs have different value. We should respect each kind of jobs. Try your best and be what you want to be.五、Progress 1Sum up2. Homework (1). Read the conversation with your partner.(2).
