1、形容词和副词的比较级和最高级(一)比较级的一般句式的构成： A +谓语（系动词）+ 形容词比较级+ than + B。如： She is taller than me. 她比我高。（二）构成：英语形容词/副词比较等级有三个：原级，比较级和最高级。形容词、副词的比较级和最高级形式变化有规则的和不规则的两种。规则变化：1）单音节词末尾加-er（比较级），-est（最高级）【例】 原级 比较级 最高级great greater greatest small smaller smallest2）单音节如以e结尾，只加-r（比较级），-st（最高级）【例】 fine finer finest wide
2、wider widest3）闭音节单音节词如末尾只有一个辅音字母，须先双写这个辅音字母，再加-er（比较级），-est（最高级）【例】 big bigger biggest hot hotter hottest red redder reddest4）以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节词，则变y为-i，再加-er和-est。【例】early earlier earliest easy easier easiest5）其它双音节和多音节词皆在前面加单词more（比较级）和most（最高级）。【例】 careful more careful most careful difficult more diff
3、icult most difficult delicious more delicious most delicious不规则变化：原级 比较级 最高级good/well better best bad/badly worse worstmany/much more most little less leastfar farther/further farthest/furthest注：有些形容词一般没有比较等级。如： right, wrong, woolen等。形容词的比较等级的用法：比较级用于二者的比较。【例】 Li Ping is older than Wang Hai. 李平比王海年纪
4、大。There are more students in Class One than in Class Two.一班比二班学生多。二、 形容词各等级的用法：1、 原级（同级）比较：as+形容词/副词原级+as，“如同.一样”，not as(so)+形容词/副词原级+as，“不如一样”Well give you as much help as we can. 我们会尽可能地给你帮助。She isnt as(so) good at sports as before. 她不像以前那样擅长体育。注意：as as结构中如果出现表示倍数的词，应放在asas结构之前Our school is four t
5、imes as large as yours. 我们的学校比你们的学校要大四倍。2. 比较级：表示两者之间比 更可用状语much, a little, even等修饰： He is a little taller than Sam. 他比山姆高一点。He is even richer than I. 他甚至比我更富有。3、形容词最高级前必须加the, 副词最高级前常省略the，后面多用of， in短语表示范围：It was the most interesting story I have ever listened. 这是我听过的最有趣的故事。He is the tallest of the
6、 three. 他是三个人当中最高的。4、 如果在两者之间表示“最”时要在比较级前加the，而且还用of the two, of the pair短语：John is the cleverer of the two boys. 在两个男孩中间，约翰是最聪明的。 5、 the+比较级. the +比较级.表示“越越”The more books you read, the wider your knowledge is. 你读的书越多，你的知识就越广。The more food you eat, the fatter you are. 你吃的越多，你就会越胖。6、“越来越”,用“比较级+and+
