Section A(3a) 课题: Qomolangma-the most dangerous mountain in the world?一、教学内容分析本课是围绕鲁教版五四制八年级上册第五单元“What s the highest mountain in the world?而开展的阅读。本课的核心话题是了解珠穆朗玛峰的地理知识并学习登山 者的顽强不屈的精神。在进行阅读、听、说训练的基础上,进一步开展学生的综合运用 语言的能力,从而到达学以致用的目的。二、学情分析大局部初三学生阅读能力有了一定的

2、基础,但在快速阅读找寻信息方面还没有到达 高效的标准,需要加强这方面的训练,听说能力的输出需要进一步加强。二、学习策略通过小组合作,灵活运用所学知识进行思考和交流;提炼关键词的训练;在阅读以 及其它活动中,能主动寻求别人的帮助并进行适当的纠正;在老师的指导下,提升学生 听、说和写的能力。三、教学目标1、知识目标(Knowledge goals)学习本课的重点词汇和短语,通过阅读掌握文章的大体意思,进而抓住细节。2、能力目标(Ability goals)培养学生良好的阅读策略与技巧,速读及细读的能力。提高学生语言运用的能力,学以致用表达自己对登山及登山者的评价。3、情感目标(Emotion go

3、als)培养学生的合作意识。培养学生勇于挑战困难的信心。四、教学重难点阅读策略的运用以及阅读技巧的培养。教学过程Step 1. Before readingWarming up and leading-in(1) Free talkWhat kind of sports do you like ? Let several students express their opinions.What do you think of mountain climbing ?Will you try to climb Qomolangma, the highest mountain in the worl

4、d.(2) Watch a video about climbing Qomolangma.Let students say the dangers they see in the video.If they cant say out ,1 will lead them to say.eg: Is the wind blowing hard?After the Ss report, the teacher concludes climbing Qomolangma is very dangerous.Qomolangma is the most dangerous mountain in th

5、e world, so that the new lesson is led in.【思路点拨】本环节通过录像短片,引出了攀登珠穆朗玛峰的艰辛及其危险重重,由此而设计的 free talk,主要是为了通过视频带入情景,体会登山的重重困难,同时为细读第一段中 的困难环节做铺垫。也为更好的感知登山精神做铺垫。Step 2 While reading(l)SkimmingMatch the main idea of each paragraphRead the article quickly to match the main idea of each paragraph. Teach the st

6、udents how to use the reading strategy to read the text.【思路点拨】通过这个环节,使学生对文章的总体意思有了基本的了解,并通过连线段落大意,检 验学生的理解程度。(2) Careful-reading1. Read Para. 1 carefully. List the dangers for climbers 。 Students can discuss their ideas in groups. Teach the students how to use the reading strategy to read the text.2

The others are climbers.Talk about the dangers ,achievements and opinions about mountain climbing.Step 4. We know its so hard fbr healthy people to climb the mountain .To reach the top, we

Surf the Internet to know more about Qomolangma.【思路点拨】在这一环节当中,我设计了 A类和B类作业,以针对不同学习层次和兴 趣的学生。学生可以选择适合自己的作业来做,这样让每个学生都有作业可做保有学习 的欲望。学生课外学习是课堂教学阵地的重要延伸,因此必须充分利用好这一环节。
