9、以表示“值”,常见用法如下:sth. costs (sb.) 金钱 ,某物花了(某人)多少钱Remembering these new words cost him a lot of time. c)take 后面常跟双宾语,常见用法:It takes sb. 时间 to do sth. 做某事花了某人多少时间It takes me an hour to get to school.我到校要一个小时. d)pay 的基本用法是:pay (sb.) money for sth. 付钱(给某人) 买I have to pay them 20 pounds for this room each mo

10、nth. pay for sth. 付的钱I have to pay for the book lost. 我不得不赔丢失的书款。pay for sb. 替某人付钱。Don t worry!Ill pay for you. 别担心,我会给你付钱的。pay sb. 付钱给某人They pay us every month.他们每月给我们报酬。pay money back 还钱。May I borrow 12 yuan from you? 21、关系代词。我们现在来看一下先行词指人时,这四个关系代词的使用问题。下面用句子合并的方法来分析。(一)定语从句用who 或 that 做引导词,在从句中作主语。The boy is called Jack. He broke the window. 把句变为句的定语从句,句中的the boy 做定语从句的先行词。在句中he 指句中提到的the boy 也就是定语从句的先行词,he 在句中做主语,因此要用who 和 that 引导定语从句,代替句中的he,也就是说 he 就不能出现在定语从句中了。由此得到句The boy who broke the window is called Jack. 注

22、意:一般情况下定语从句要紧挨先行词。请把下面两句话合并为一句。The person must pay for it./He lost the library book. _ (二)定语从句用who,whom 或 that 作引导词,在从句中作宾语。因为是作宾语,所以这些引导词可以省略。请分析下面两个简单句:句 Do you know the young man ?句 We met him at the gate.把句变为句的定语从句,句中的the young man 作定语从句的先行词。在句中him 指句中提到的the young man 也就是定语从句的先行词,him 在句中做宾语,因此要用

23、whom,that 或 who 引导定语从句, 代替句中的him,也就是说him 就不能出现在定语从句中了。由此得到句Do you know the young man who/that/whom we met at the gate?(who/that/whom 可以省略,句子可以写作:Do you know the young man we met at the gate?)请把下面两句话合并为一句。Mr.Lee has come./You want to see him._ (三)定语从句用whose 作引导词,在从句中作定语表示“ 某些人的 ” 。请分析下面两个简单句:句 The gi
