1、Module 12 Help Unit 1 What should we do before help arrives?教材分析本模块主题是“Help”。主要是关于在灾难和事故面前如何救助他人和自救的问题。 第一单元为听说课,主要针对基础急救知识进行讨论。对话中营造的场景很自然地导入 了 could表示推测的用法以及祈使句的肯定句和否认式。了解一些使用的急救方法不仅 可以帮助学生在关键时刻自救,还能提高其救助他人的意识和能力。学情分析初二的学生经过初中一年的学习,已经具备了一定的听说读写能力,对新鲜事物有很 强的好奇心;但他们又处于生理和心理变化的重要时期,很多孩子乐于参与课堂活动能够, 但又

2、不好意思,所以课堂上会出现学生回答以下问题声音不响亮的现象;同时,从学生的认知能 力来看,初二这个阶段会出现很严重的两级分化现象。所以,本节课如何通过合理的有层 次的教学活动使更多的学生积极参与到课堂中来并都有所收获,应该是教学设计的着眼 点。从教学内容来看,急救知识在中国学生当中还是一个较为陌生的话题,课堂上如何让 学生了解更多的急救知识是本节课的一个重要任务。教学目标1、掌握以下词汇并能在交流中灵活运用。单词:stairs, aid, medical, imagine, wrong, trouble, lift, harmful, drop, training, co ver, broke

3、n, glass,短语:basic medical help, first aid, lift up, make sure, have trouble (in) doing sth., sit him on a chair, cover. with2、理解情态动词表推测和祈使句表建议的用法,并能引导学生在真实的语境中进行 运用。3、听懂和理解关于急救知识的对话并能够就平安和急救话题用所学英语进行谈论。4、建立乐于帮助他人和珍惜生命的意识。重点难点教学重点是帮助学生掌握本课的单词、词组和句型,使学生听懂和理解关于急救知识 的对话并能用所学的知识用英语进行谈论,同时引导学生理解和运用的情态动词表推

4、测 和祈使句表建议的用法。教学难点是能使学生能在真实的语境下运用所学的急救知识进行英语交流。Teaching procedureStepl Warm-upPlay a game. (Tell what could happen.)目的:利用PPT呈现的图片和给出的提示问题引导学生说出本课的重点单词和词组,对 重点的单词、词组和句型进行有针对性的操练,也为情态动词表推测的用法提供了真实的 语境。幻灯片上图片的使用,使得词汇的学习更加生动形象,也表达了语境中学习词汇的 教学理念。Step3 While-listeningListen to the first material in Activity 2, till in the blanks with
