1、九年级英语 U3L1 Vocabulary and pre-reading教案一、教学材料授课年级:九年级授课主题:U3 The environment授课内容:Vocabulary and pre-reading Period 1授课课型:话题背景输入课二、教学内容分析本单元以“环境”为话题,以环境问题和保护环境为主线展开。阅读(Reading)板块以 两个最严重的环境问题温室效应和砍伐森林展开同时提到造成这些环境的主要原因是人类活 动,最后呼吁我们从自身做起保护环境:在听力(Listening)板块是一那么广播节目,主要是 关于城市的两个环境问题:垃圾问题和噪音问题,并且给出解决方案,这里
2、需要掌握整体理 解和获取和记录关键信息的听力技能;在语法(Grammar)板块,复习巩固“the same”, “different”,“thc same as”等的用法,并且学会在语境中使用;在I I语(Speaking)板块(Talk time)局部学习表达担忧的表达方式然后在会话(Speak up)局部继续讨论你所在城市的环 境问题并且讨论可能的解决方法;在写作(Writing)板块根据所给图片和文字提示,讲 述Gary Green环保的一天是在哪些方面做到了绿色低碳环保的,同时可以思考更多的环 保行为;在补充阅读(Morepractice)板块补充阅读一只塑料瓶的经历,思考塑料污染以及
3、 我们可以如何I可收利用塑料制品废弃物;在文化角(Cultural corner)板块提到了碳足迹的概 念,同时发出每个人都应该尽量减少自己碳足迹的建议念;在学习技巧(Study Skills)板块 是一个关于环保的问卷调查。本课时作为本单元的第一课时通过介绍各种环境问题以及我们的解决方法串联各个板 块的知识,介绍Reading, More practice, Cultural corner等局部提到的环境问题和概念,教 授Reading局部出现的一些重要词汇,以及拓展和环境相关的重要词汇,为Reading课时做 铺垫。三、学情分析本节课面向广州市九年级的学生,这一阶段的学生经历了两年的初中英
4、语学习,有一定 的语言基础。此外,对于环境问题,在七年级和八年级都已经有所涉及,所以同学们对这个 话题应该不陌生,因此本课旨在探讨保护环境的广度,让同学们思考保护环境的宏观和微观 角度,树立正确的环保意识。四、教学目标语言能力 掌握本单元中的话题词汇和相关高频词汇如greenhouse effect, sea level, recycle, green等。同时了解环境问题更多的词汇表达和相关概念。学习能力通过了解各种环境问题思考造成环境问题的原因,同时思考对应的措施。思维品质从不同的角度理解环境问题背后的深层原因在提问和讨论中学会独立思考和批 判性思维。文化品格学会更多的绿色低碳环保知识,树立
5、环保从我做起,从小事做起的环保意识。五、教学重点、难点教学重点1 .学习各种与环境相关的词汇表达;2 .掌握温室效应的形成原因,学会用所学词汇描述温室效应;3 .掌握垃圾分类的相关基本知识;4 .学习各种绿色环保的习惯和做法。教学难点1 .局部环境专业词汇如生物多样性,沙漠化,可持续开展等比拟难;2 .局部环境知识和理念需要重点理解和把握。六、教学理念根据新课程标准,单元是承载主题意义的基本单位,单元教学目标是总体目标的有机组成部 分。单元教学目标是以开展英语学科核心素养为宗旨,围绕主题语境整体设计学习活动。本 节课主要是基于主题意义进行单元整体教学的设计以学生对于主题意义的理解和学习能力的
6、开展为主线,设计各种激发同学们兴趣和思考的关联学习活动,旨在向学生介绍本单元的话题。 由于这是一节词汇学习和阅读引入课,我想在广度上挖掘更多的可能性,因此我想从文章的温 室效应出发,引发出同学们对更多环境问题的思考,了解更多环境问题背后的原因,同时本节课 的情感目标重点是使同学们树立环保意识,包括宏观层面,以及微观上从日常生活上每天 学会环保和低碳,同时,在更多情景中让同学们了解和掌握字环保密切相关的高频词汇,包括 本单元的高频词汇如greenhouse effect, sea level等,同时也会大量拓展和环境问题相关的词 汇比方global warming ,climate change
