1、Period 1 (Section A la-2c)设计说明本节课为该单元的第一课时。从话题“未来的世界”谈论对将来的预测,自然要用一般将来 时态。本课通过师生问答、小组讨论、听录音、调查采访等形式,对“will+动词原形”结 构进行突破,尤其注意“There will/wont be.”形式,并初步掌握more, less, fewer表示 数量的用法。教学目标.知识目标:掌握单词:paper, pollution, prediction, future0(2)掌握句型:“Will kids go to school?” uPeople will have robots in their h

2、omes.” “People wont use money. Everything will be free.” “There will be more/less/fewer.n uPeople will live to be 200 years old.”。1 .能力目标:能运用一般将来时态句型对未来进行预测。2 .情感目标:指导学生对未来进行合理预测并增强环境保护的意识。重点难点.重点:使学生掌握本课时出现的含有一般将来时的句型。(2)初步掌握more, less, fewer表示数量的用法。1 .难点:让学生运用所学句型 “People will/wont.” “There will b

3、e more/less/fewer.n 对未 来进行预测并表述自己的观点。教学准备多媒体课件,录音机和磁带,学生喜爱的与机器人有关的图片,调查表格。教学过程Step 1 Revision & Leading in1. RevisionAsk the students to talk about what they want to be and how they are going to do it. For example: T : What do you want to be when you grow up?SI : 1 want to be a scientist.T : How are

4、 you going to do that?SI: Im going to study science hard. Leading inShow some pictures of robots on the screen to the students. For example:T: Do people have robots now?Students would probably say that the robots are working in factories.Step 2 PresentationAsk students two questions:1. Will people h

5、ave robots in their homes in 5 years?2. Will people have robots in their homes 10 years from now?Step 3 New wordsTeach the following words: paper, future, predict, prediction, pollute, pollution.For example:T: Whats this? (Holding up a piece of paper)Ss: Paper.T: Yes.(板书生词 paper)T: Will we use paper

6、 in the future? What will the future be like?Say your predictions.(板书生词:future, prediction)SI : Cities will be more polluted.
