1、2009教 学设 计 征 稿高中英语人教必修一第四单元阅读课教学设计A NIGHT THE EARTH DIDNT SLEEP江西省赣州市第三中学徐 英（341000） Email:Tel:一、教学课型：阅读课二、教材分析 1教材处理本单元中心话题为“地震”，阐述了地震的成因、震前预兆、地震造成的损失、地震时的应急措施以及震后的救援等。我将Warming-up 和Reading两部分组合成一课时。Warming-up中的图片是唐山地震和洛杉矶地震的两副图片，引出话题“一旦地震发生，将会造成怎样的危害”，为后面的主题作一个热身运动。Pre-reading 部分供应了地震前兆的图片，设置了两个开放
2、性问题，目的是增加学生的生活常识，提高他们的应变实力。这部分为接下来的阅读作了很好的铺垫，学生可通过运用一些生活常识来回答这两个问题。考虑到我们所在的城市没有发生过地震，课文的内容不符合学生的认知特点和已有的生活阅历，因此我用图片和汶川地震的即时录象报道来补充其背景知识。Reading 部分具体描写了1976年唐山大地震的震前、震中和震后的状况。作者具体描述了地震来临前的一些不正常的自然现象及动物的反常表现；地震的来势汹汹并在顷刻间将整座城市夷为平地；震后人们英勇面对现实并及时实施抢救和重建工作。本课词汇量大，并运用了大量的动词，使得描写更为生动，文中还有不少困难的数字，这又增加了文章的阅读难
3、度，另外文章中出现了很多定语从句，对学生的语言阅读实力提出了更高的要求。2教学目标英语课程标准教学目标知识目标1初步驾驭与地震等灾难和事故相关词汇，理解、内化、运用课本31个生词、12个词组，以及相关句型与语法。2了解地震状况，学习有关数量的表达方式，了解反复、夸张和明喻等修辞方式的作用。语言技能培育阅读微技能训练：查读，略读，跳读，寻读等功能；着重培育学生略读和查读的快速阅读技巧；提高学生运用所学语言知识描述地震前兆、危害及震后援救的实力。学习策略培育学生学会运用网络资源搜寻有关地震等相关自然灾难信息的自主学习策略及有效合作与交际策略。情感看法通过自主学习和合作学习，激发学生自主探究的爱好和
4、热忱，体会“以人为本”的精神实质，培育团结互助精神，学习唐山人民英勇面对灾难，主动进行灾难重建的精神。文化意识了解地震等重大灾难的信息以及相应的措施，提高灾难预防和自我爱护意识。三、学情分析我校属于省级重点中学，学生都是由市区各所中学经过中考选拔上来的，中考分数虽不错，但英语水平参差不齐。经过问卷调查，我班（一个B层班和一个C层班）喜爱英语并且有信念学好英语的学生占了63%，28%的学生不喜爱英语。究其缘由，主要是旧的教学方法与考试评价体系严峻挫伤学生的学习主动性和自信念。一个多月的实践摸索后，我发觉我的学生思维活跃，他们很多人有自己的观点和看法，敢于提出不同见解，乐于组间沟通，喜爱即时评价。
5、在英语学习上，他们盼望能学到知识性和趣味性兼有的内容，渴望从英语学习中获得更多的知识和实力。基于此分析，课外，我把学生分成三个大组，确定组长及成员，并分别布置学习任务，要求学生分工合作，收集有关资料，整理后在课堂上汇报。如组1负责收集各类灾难图片，找出相应英文名字。组二负责收集有关地震的前兆现象及相应图片。组三收集震后（如汶川地震）的摧毁状况及相应图片。课内，按座位，将学生分成六人合作组，相互学习、沟通，以此激发学生爱好，让学生互动学习，主动探究。 四、教学重点和难点：重点： 1让学生驾驭本篇文章中的单词，词组以及重要表达。难点: 运用所学知识表达自己的想法; 如何就课文内容绽开话题探讨；如何
6、能把课文的内容延长与拓展;指导学生通过各种渠道如报纸、杂志、图书馆和网络等资源查找有关素材，培育其收集查找资料的实力。 五、教学方法 依据对教材及学情的分析，依托当前教学改革，课程改革等先进理念，我认为，阅读中，老师可以把图式理论引进教学中，所谓图式理论就是学生必需具备足够的背景知识，才能理解作者在文章中所表达的内涵。此处所指的背景知识就是指对作者利用文字所表示的具体事例背景的了解，背景知识越丰富，理解实力就越剧烈。我的学生没有亲身体验地震，没有更多相关背景知识，因此为达成上述教学目标，我打算采纳图式教学模式（如图所示）：图式阅读模式供应背景,填补信息阅读语篇,初步理解小组探讨,建构图式运用图

Many people died and were injured, but some survivors were rescued by soldiers.【设计意图】播放视频目的是为了引起学生的共鸣并激发其想象的空间，老师引导学生留意视察地震发生时的状况；老师通过学生的图片展示，不断引出词汇，激励学生大胆描述当时的情景，尽快让学生建立与课文对应的背景知识，在描述的过程当中运用课文中涉及到的词汇或者短语，并对生词要加重语气，这样
