The first-class seat is usually in the interior of a room which facing to the door. Generally speaking the host usually sits on the first-class seat but if there is a guest, the

7、dishes. Never stick chopsticks vertically into a bowl of rice, as this resembles incense sticks used at temples to mourn over the dead. It will be considered a ultimate dinner table faux pas. The main difference of eating habits between Chinese and the west country is that in China the dishes are pl

Chinese like to talk loudly during the dinner which is different from the west , talking with a full mouth is usually allowed though some people think it is impolitely .d. Besides , when you are eating

When eating food that contains bones, it is customary that the bones should be spatted out in the dining plate within a neat pile. Spitting them onto the floor is almost never accepted. 13、for the host to insist that guests drink to show friendship. If the guests prefers not to drink, they may say, Im unable to drink, but thank you.“ The host may continue to insist that the guests drink, and the guests may likewise continue to insist upon being unable to drink. The hosts insistence is

When all people sit down and all cups are filled, the host should toast others first, together with some simple prologue to let the dinning start. During the dining af
17、ter the seniors toast, you can toast anyone from superior to inferior at their convenience. When someone toasts you, you should immediately stop eating and drinking to accept and toast in response. If you are far from someone you want to toast, then you can use your cup or glass to rap on the table
18、to attract attention rather than raise your voice.
