29、当一个人爱上一门艺术的时候,什么样的牺牲都值得。”可是迪莉娅伸手捂住了他的嘴,说:“不,应该说当一个人爱上的时候。”作品赏析:欧亨利的短片小说大多从“小”处着眼。他的著作很少直接讨论社会经济政治等严肃问题,而是用四两拨千斤的方式,从描述小人物的生活入手,引发读者对于“爱”“忠诚”等一些永恒主题的思考。小说爱的牺牲中,直接刻画的人物仅仅只有一对夫妻,作者用他们两人的日常对话、动作串联起了整个故事情节,文章脉络简单而清晰,整篇故事含蓄而隽永,体现“爱”的主题既不矫揉造作,也非说教。小说最后仍是给了读者出乎意料的结尾。但欧亨利小说的精彩之处绝对不仅仅在于反转式的结尾带来的冲击,作者的目的也并非要让读者咂舌,否则小说阅读一次后便失去价值。而欧亨利的小说需要反复阅读至少两次,才能明白文中那些充分体现人物情感的细节是怎样构成了剧情的自然发展。第二遍阅读爱的牺牲,在已经知道了两位主人公都为了对方的梦想撒下了善意的谎言之后,读者才能细细品嚼迪莉娅回家后与乔没话找话般的交谈和解释受伤经过时差点说漏嘴这些细节的精妙之处,读懂这些地方,才能完整体会欧亨利小说感情的细微与真挚。【精品文档】
