Take a Chinese idiom as an example:”Long Feng Cheng Xiang” can be translated into “dragon and phoenix show good luck.” It is used to describe the love and a perfec
2、t marriage of a couple. I am going to introduce it in three main parts.Its image and connotationThere is an archaism describing it ”The phoenixs head looks like chicken. Its mouth is just as a parrot. It has a neck of a peacock and a body of a mandarin duck. When it stretches its wings. You may feel
3、 that it is the roc. Cranes feet are the same as its. Its crest shows a shape of jade.” According to this, we can get the conclusion that the phoenixs image is a combination of many animals. So ,what is the common places this different parts have?The vital point is peace and love. If you wanna to fi
4、nd a symbol instead of the point. There is no doubt that phoenix is the best choice. Firstly ,phoenix itself is a combination of many creatures. Chicken ,swallow, crane, swan, hawk, ostrich and many other kinds of birds are included. Except for the bird, terrestrial organism and virtual creatures su
5、ch as dragon and kylin are included in it. Secondly ,the main part of the phoenix is bird. It has the closest relationship with plants. Thirdly, we Chinese people divide the power that exits in the two opposite sides into ” Yin Yang”. Initially ,phoenix is composed by two parts. One is “Feng”. It re
6、presents “yang”. The other is “Huang”. It is a kind of female creature. As a result, we divide it as “Yin”. Come from real significance say, it is a imagery of philosophy category. Fourthly ,the appearance of phoenix is a result of respecting ,understanding towards all the lives on earth. The theory
7、 of Taoist emphasis the peaceful coexistence with others. Since the day phoenix was born. We have pined many hopes on it. Such as scarify for others. That fits well with the Confucians thought. Phoenix comes from our life. But it can stand aloof from this moral life. Zen Buddhism praise it a lot.Ana
