1、Unit 8 Birthdays 教学设计The second period（第二课时）教材内容Story time（教材第7980页）（通过Miss Li询问Mike的生日，以及Mike描述过生日的场景，学习句型：-Whens your birthday ? -Its on the .of.；教材第80页的习题是对本节课学习的巩固和检测）；Fun time（教材第82页）（询问生日并统计每个月过生日的人数。）教材分析本版块通过Miss Li询问Mike的生日，Mike描述生日当天的情形，学习句型：-Whens your birthday ? -Its on the .of.并通过此版块学习新
2、词组：have a party, buy a birthday cake, play some games, have a lot of fun。教材第80页的练习作为本版块复习巩固部分。Fun time版块通过询问学生的生日，统计班上每个月份有多少同学过生日，复习Story time部分的句型。教学目标基础知识1. 会听写词组：have a party, buy a birthday cake, play some games, have a lot of fun.2. .会自如运用句型-Whens your birthday ? -Its on the .of.基本技能1.能根据课文内容复
3、述或者同桌之间互相问答。2.会自如运用句型-Whens your birthday ? -Its on the .of. 综合素质1.通过本单元的学习，感受英语的生活化。2培养学生在生活中自如运用英语。教学重难点及突破重点1.会自如运用句型-Whens your birthday ? -Its on the .of.2.课文内容的整体感知。难点日期的表达法教学突破教师询问苏海的生日的情形，唤醒学生的学习记忆并让学生带着问题去课文中找答案：How about Mike?这样学生会很容易解决本课的难点，教师也可以将关键词或者关键词组板书在黑板上，减轻学生复述的难度。教学准备教师准备课文光碟，课文录

8、，希望同学们课后能用英语描述自己的生日情形。Step 5 Homework(课后作业) 1. 新词组抄写三遍，默写一遍。 2. 预习Grammar time, Sound time & Culture time板书设计Unit 8 BirthdaysLesson two -Whens Mikes birthday? -Its on the（日期序数词）of月份 -What does he do on his birthday? -He usually . in the morning. in the afternoon.教学探讨与反思在教授本节课的时候教师要引导学生观察基数词和序数词之间的变化，最好是用多媒体进行动态演示。在教授日期的表达法的时候教师要尽量多举例，多给学生操练的机会，趁热打铁，将难点解决在课堂内。另外教师提醒学生在用英语表达日期的时候介词on不能少。这些难点解决了，学生就能很容易理解文本。
