For one thing, the population of the world is increasing so rapidly at the world has been so crowded.For another,the overuse of natural resources has influenced the balance of natural ec
11、ology . What is more, since the industrial revolution ,it is natural that a great number of factories have been springing up like mushrooms. The smoke and harmful chemicals released from factories also pollute the environment. To solve the problem is not easy at all, but is worthing. We should do so
12、mething such as planting more trees, equipping cars with pollution-control devices and learning to recycling natural resources to improve the present situation, and I do believe everything will be better in the future.4、Computers & Internetwith the development of computer,more and more college stude

29、y gettting less and less.There are many reasons for this condition. First, the global economic crisis brought a depression of many vocations , More and more companies and factories went bankrupt, and more and more people were driven out of work. Second, Under the serious pressure for employment, the
30、 fresh man gratuated from school had no advantage for employment,they had no experience,no technic. We found that the fresh man during the education in school,they did not learn the actual technic,just study the knowladge in the book. Third, the fresh man can not accept some hard work,and they only
31、want to work in some big cities.How to settle these problems? First, our government should make some policy issues to revitalize the economic. Second, the school and university should change the way of education, they should afford more chance for the students to joy some actual job in society, let
32、them study how to use the knowledge in job. Third, our society should change the thought of different earea, and encourage the economic of north west earea. Anyway, the condition and enviroment is extrinsic, the most important is the fresh man themselves, study hard and work hard is basic,creative t
33、hought is chance, catch the chance and meet challenge, then you will succeed.10、Media & Privacy Nowadays more and more ordinary people tend to focus their attention on the private life of the famous people .While as a matter of fact, the unfair and worsening situation we worried about is that famous
34、 people are treated by current mass media and the public insight into celebrities are, to some extent, being distorted.First of all, the abuse of public presses and report will disturb and trouble idols daily life a lot and even their family members will be involved, whats more, they will be easily
35、hurt psychologically. Secondly, audience prefers to private life through mass media to satisfy their desire for entertainment . You will always hear people talking about how much they earn, what they wear, eat, drink and say in a party and who loves who. etc. The world is crazy and people are losing
36、 their high taste and become more superficial. Thirdly, I must note that the public press needs to adhere to the professional ethic and wise enough to make our independent judgment. To my part, we should leave more space for celebrities and they also need to learn how to protect themselves from expo
37、sure of privacy to the public. In addition, journalists and mass media should take the responsibility to work as a press guide for our society To conclude, all the people including celebrities, media and audience should work together to make our society cleaner and healthier.11、Crimes & PunishmentNo
38、wdays, more and more criminals are put into prision because of this or that reason, it can reduce the number of crimes ,which is accepted by most of people,but I think it is a question remain thinking.Some people think that government build prison in order to reduce the criminals,others insist that
39、it is not a complete way of reducing criminals ,and I think that function best is the corporation of punishment and education.On one hand,if government only put criminals into prison to pulish,they still dont quite know how to behave themselves.On the other hand,if only educate without proper punish
40、ment,people will not consider committing crimes seriously.To sum up,reducing criminals is not a simple work.The government should not only punish them but also educate them.12、Technology & SocietyTechnology has automated many of the critical processes in the industry as well the household. The elect
41、ronic things that have entered the homes of the common man have saved him from the daily household work. The automobile industry and technology are almost interwoven. Technology was the driving force behind the creation and design of the modern-day automobiles. (1)From two-wheelde modes of bikes to
42、four-wheeled modes of cars.(2) Technology has evolved to an extent where machines can perform tasks that are physically inaccessible to man. The use of advanced technologies like robotics and artificial intelligence has proved helpful in life-risking tasks like mining and space exploration.(3)The co
43、mputer technology, needless to say, has changed the face of the world. Computers can store, organize and manage huge amounts of data. They can process large amounts of information. Computers have given rise to the software industry, The Internet has brought an important positive change to the entert
44、ainment and advertising industry. (4)The conventional telephone, also a piece of technology, was one of the earliest technological developments in communication. Mobile phones have broadened the horizons of communication by enabling convenient long-distance calling. (5)Satellite communication is ano
45、ther important dimension of technology. Satellite TVs and satellite radios have broadcasted events across the globe. These were only a few of the fields influenced by technology. It is almost impossible to enlist all the positive effects of technology on society. This was just a glimpse of the real
46、big picture. 13、Ways of communication When you speak, write a letter, or make a telephone call, your words carry a message. People communicate with words. But do you know people also communicate without words? A simle on your face shows you are happy or friendly. Tears in your eyes tell others that
47、you are sad. When you raise your hand in class, the teacher knows you want to say something or ask questions. You shake your head and people know you are saying Yes. Other things can also carry messages. For example, sign at the bus stop helps you to know which bus to take. A sign on the wall of you
