My main job was to operate Alibaba Online Platform, release product information on , ma
3、nage product information, and communicate with customers and serve maintenance program.A lot of knowledge learned in school can be used in work, especially Oral English, Foreign Trade Correspondence, Office Software and international trade practice.E-mail is the most common form of communication wit
4、h customers. Therefore, we can use the knowledge about English correspondence for foreign trade we have learned in school. Many buyers or full-time purchasers simply judge your professionalism by your E-mail. We learned a lot in Trade Correspondence knowledge which can be used for the work.Many cust
5、omers also like contact with me on MSN or Skype; they will ask for voice communication. I was nervous at first, I am always thinking about how to phrase words to come out, but later I found that they do not want you to put it genteel, in addition to professional product knowledge, as long as your or
6、al English is enough to communicate.The use of Office Software is also very important, especially the use of Excel tables. Our offer, product catalog, and many work should be completed by Excel.Since I was the only foreign trade salesman in our company and it is also the first time for our company t
7、o deal with foreign trade, I should do everything involved in foreign trade, such as logistics, customs declaration, documents, etc. Fortunately, I have studied international trade practice; therefore I dont have too much difficulty in communicating with logistics companies and Import-Export compani
8、es.Once I thought that what we learned in school is enough; however, the fact shows that I am wrong. I learned a lot in work, including the communication with people, which is the most important thing. You should communicate with your superiors, colleagues, clients and other people you come into con
9、tact with. Good communication can enhance efficiency. For example, not all customers like to talk with you about your products and your company only; they dont like a sale robot; what they like is a real person who can communicate with them and who has his/her own living. I have a client in Saudi Ar
10、abia; he liked to chat with me, but he does not like every day I say: “Hello, sir, shall we start to talk about our cooperation? He would say: Miss Flower (my English name has the meaning of violet), are you happy today?” If I say “no”, then he would talk about our cooperation after making me happy.
11、 Since then every time I want to discuss the cooperation with him, I will talk some happy things with him at first. When it comes to the communication with superiors and colleagues, it is the same. If you just talk about working with him every day, though he will cooperate with you at last, but it w
12、ould not seem to be willing and will affect efficiency. Once I want to ask the workshop supervisor some technical questions; I found him and asked. He was very arrogant and did not answer me. One of our regional managers heard of that then told me to communicate with different persons in different w
13、ays. Therefore, when I want to deal with any work with colleagues, I would communicate with him in the way he can accept.Learning capacity is important as well. As my major is Business English, I do not know the jargon and the professional name of our products at the beginning. No body can help me b
14、ut myself because no one knows English in our company except me. I learned them through search on some foreign trade websites, went to some better websites of coterie and look up in the dictionary.What I learned as well as skills of sales. The work was hard sledding at the beginning, it is very diff
15、icult to communicate with customers because I do not know our company and products very well, so I went to the workshop and learn from the workers. Not all first letters must quote for them; I should quote when I wander what specifications of the products he or she is looking for.During the internsh
16、ip, I found I have many limitations, for example, I did know how to use some office equipment. One time, I want to send a customer a fax, I found I did not know how to use the fax machine. I can only ask a colleague for help, she was surprised that I did not know how to use the fax machine, it makes
17、 me very embarrassed. There are some customers pronunciation I cannot understand. One time, a client called me on Skype, so I found that he spoke very fast and I just can catch Hello! Then I could not understand any word and I immediately told him I do not understand what he said, and then he typed
18、while I speak.Obviously, it is high time that we took some measures to solve the problems. Through the practice, I realized the direction I should pursue. Ill work hard to get a good command of oral English and listen to the pronunciation from different countries frequently. Thus Ill have a more flu
19、ent communication with my clients. Actually, Ive been taken action right away. I try my best to make friends and chat with them from different countries. Yeah, Ill work even harder. Through my study in this period, I learn some points in the line of foreign trade. Therefore, Id like to give some sug
20、gestions on my future education. First and foremost, as we all know, not all foreigners are from English-speaking countries and they may not very good at English just like most of us .If it is possible, I think its better to use some simple expressions and they can understand easily. Besides, I hope
21、 to get more preliminary class with computer for its impossible to master the knowledge just in one semester. Also, the office software is frequently used in our everyday work,Then, I think it will be great to open some lectures on culture difference between China and foreign countries. Only when we
22、 know the culture in a foreign country, will we have a smooth communication with our foreign clients and get rid of the misunderstanding.Last but not least, I also hope to have the class on writing and translating. Its very useful for our work as we do translating most of time, such as the translati
23、on of product information, the translation between our boss and clients to make them understood by each other. 实习报告中文版:怀着对专业和外贸的喜爱,我说服了家里人让我下到广东实习。2010年一月三日,我正式到佛山南海铭记五金厂报到,成为了该厂第一个也是唯一一个外贸业务员。主要工作是在网上操作阿里巴巴平台、在阿里巴巴国际站发布产品信息、管理产品信息、与客户沟通及开发客户等。在学校学到的很多知识都能用到工作上,其中用得最多的是英语口语、外经贸英语函电、办公室软件及国际贸易实务。 在与客
24、户的沟通中,电子邮件是最常用的一种。这就涉及了我们学过的外经贸英语函电,对很多专业买家或者是专职采购来说,你够不够专业,就要看你写的电子邮件是否够专业,我们在学校学到的很多外经贸英语函电知识都能运用到工作上。 很多客户也喜欢和你在MSN或者是Skype上联系,他们会要求通话。刚开始的时候我很紧张,总是想着要怎么把那句话说出来,但是后来我发现,除了专业的产品知识以外,其实他们不会要你讲得文绉绉的,只要你的口语足够沟通就行了。 办公室软件的使用也很重要,特别是Excel 表格的运用。我们的报价、产品目录等很多都需要用Excel 来完成。 由于我们公司就只有我一个外贸业务员,也是第一次尝试外贸,所以
25、外贸中涉及的物流及报关、单证等都要我去联系。幸好自己有学过国际贸易实务,去跟物流公司和进出口公司联系沟通的时候没有太多障碍。曾经以为在学校学习的东西在工作中基本都够用了,但是实践了之后,我才发现书本上的东西是多么的基础和笼统。我在工作中学到了很多东西,其中与人沟通是最重要的。不管是你和上级、同事还是和客户,只要你要接触到其他人,都需要沟通。良好的沟通能提高工作的效率。例如说,并不是所有的客户都喜欢你只和他谈你的产品你的公司,他们不喜欢销售机器人,他们希望和自己沟通的人员是很真实的很生活的。我有一个沙特阿拉伯的客户,他很喜欢和我聊天,但是他并不喜欢我每天都说:“先生,您好!请问我们可以谈谈我们的
26、合作吗?”他会说:“拥有花朵名字的小姐(我的英文名有紫罗兰的意思),今天你开心吗?”如果我说不开心的话他就会逗我开心,然后再和我谈合作事宜。此后每次我要和他谈关于合作的事情,我都会先和他聊些开心的事情,如果慢慢把话题引到工作上。和上级、同事的沟通也是如此。如果你每天一找他就是工作工作,虽然最终他还是会和你配合,但是却会好像不是心甘情愿的和你配合,会影响工作效率。有一次,我有些技术上的问题要问车间的主管,我找到他,就开门见山的问了起来,他很傲慢的跟我打官腔,半天都不告诉我具体是怎么一回事,气得我再也不想和他说话了。我们的一个区域经理知道这件事情后就教我对什么样的人要用什么方式去沟通,所以当我要和
27、同事谈工作的时候,我就会用他乐于接受的方式去和他沟通。学习力也很重要,因为我们学的是商务英语,很多行业的术语和产品的专业名称我刚开始的时候都不懂,我们公司又没有会英语的人,所以我只能自己去找、去学。我会到一些外贸网站搜索,也会到同行做得比较好的网站去看,还有查字典。 我收获到的还有销售的技巧。刚开始的时候,我的工作很难开展,因为我好像除了会点英语,公司和产品的很多情况我都不了解,和客户沟通起来很困难。于是我就下到车间去看,去问。还有不是所有第一次还盘的时候都要把价格报给他的,要先把他具体要的产品性能了解清楚才能报价,因为有些客户自己都不一定知道他要的就是哪个产品。在实习过程中,我发现自己存在很
28、多不足,例如说有些不会办公室设备。有一次,我要给一个客户发一份传真,我才发现我不会使用传真机。我只能请教一个同事,她很惊讶我居然不会用传真机,这让我很不好意思。还有有些客户讲的英语我听不懂。有一次,我有个客户在Skype上要求和我通话,等我接通之后发现他讲得很快,我只听得懂他说“Hello!” 后面的就都听不懂了,我马上跟他说我听不懂他说的,麻烦他打字。于是我就说,他就打字。通过实践,我知道了自己要努力的方向。我要努力练习好口语,还有尽可能多听些不同国家的发音,让自己和客户沟通起来更加顺畅。事实上,我已经开始行动了,我尽可能多的交些外国朋友,尽量和来自不同国家的外国人聊天。我会更加努力的!经过
29、这段时间的学习,我稍微了解了做外贸这行需要的知识。所以对本专业今后的教学提几点建议:1、如果可以的话,希望在外经贸英语函电中加一些简单的表达方式,因为不是所有的外国人英语都很好的,他们有时候需要一些比较通俗易懂的句子。2、希望计算机基础课能多开几个学期,因为很多办公室软件的知识一个学期是没有完全学到的,但是办公室软件在工作中用得又特别多。3、希望能开设关于中外文化差异的课程,我们学的既然是外语,就应该知道外国的文化是怎么样的,这样我们在和他们沟通的时候才会更加顺畅,不会有那么多的误会。4、希望能有写作和翻译的课程,这个对工作非常有帮助,因为我们很多时候就是在翻译,把产品信息翻译,把老板的意思翻
