1、独家文档请勿盗版感谢支持Unit 6 Tell me when the pain started.(第一课时 教学设计)一、学情分析 本单元是教材英语2(基础模块 高教版)第六单元,主要话题为看病就医。授课对象为高一年级商业企业管理专业学生。该班学生英语基础较好,能用简单的英语进行交流,但由于词汇量缺乏和知识面相对狭窄,所以使用英语还不够流利、熟练,在学习策略上也有待提高。因此,教师可通过本单元的听、说、读、写各种教学活动,一方面帮助学生掌握正确表达与英语学习相关的词汇与句型,另一方面引导学生结合自身的情况反思自己的英语学习,针对自身的学习问题选择有效的学习策略。本单元设计分为4个课时:第一课
2、时 Lead-in + Listening and speaking第二课时 Reading and writing第三课时 Language in use 第四课时 Vocabulary consolidation + Unit task + Fun time二、教材分析1. 教学内容本课系教材英语2(基础模块 高教版)第六单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and Speaking两部分。具体内容为:有关常见疾病的名称和描述病情的句式、就医时医生和病人之间的有关的对话。这些内容为整个单元的学习活动做语言和知识的准备,也为接下来几个课时的学习提供了语言铺垫。2. 教学
3、重点、难点 教学重点能够听懂就医的常用语,掌握叙述病症、接受医生建议的常用表达方式。 教学难点有关就医的词汇和句型。三、教学目标1. 知识目标(1)帮助学生掌握以下词汇:stomachache, toothache, fever, cough, headache, back pain, runny nose, sore throat, appointment等。(2)帮助学生掌握就医时使用的基本句型,如:Whats wrong with you?Ive a headache / a sore throat / a runny nose / fever / cough, ect.How long
4、 have you felt this way? I feel cold. I think I have a fever.Id like to make an appointment with the doctor.The doctor is free at .Will be OK for you?Take this medicine times a day. / Stay in bed for . / You should have a good rest.Thank you very much.2. 能力目标(1)学生能听懂关于描述病情的基本信息。(2)学生能根据就医基本句型开展病人和医生
5、之间的对话。3. 情感目标学生能用积极的人生态度、健康的生活方式面对生活。四、教学步骤Step One Lead-in (7 mins)1. The teacher greets the Ss with the following sentences: How are you, boys and girls?I didnt sleep well last night.Ive had a cold because .Im not myself today.Explain Im not myself today and get the Ss to say something about thems
6、elves.(设计意图:在和学生轻松的相互问候中适当地描述教师个人健康状况,进而引入本单元的话题。激发学生进一步了解的欲望,为下面的词汇和对话学习做好铺垫。)2. Activity 1: Put in the right words for the pictures. Look at the pictures and describe whats the matter with the person in the picture, using the sentence structure: He / She has a .The teacher check the answers and ex
7、plain any new words.(设计意图:帮助学生再现有关疾病名称,让学生熟悉本课词汇,同时通过描述图中人物的病情,让学生对有关句式进行简单的复习。)4. Activity 2: Listen and order the pictures. Order the pictures whiling listening to the radio. Ss discuss the answer in pairs and then check the answers.(设计意图:训练学生在听的过程中能结合图片内容捕捉听力内容大意的能力。)Step Two Listening and speaki
8、ng (30 mins)1. Before listening, ask the Ss to look at the picture and answer the question: Whats wrong with the boy in the picture? 2. Activity 3: Listen and answer the questions. Listen to the tape and answer the questions. Listen again and then check the answers.3. Activity 4: Listen again and co
9、mplete the card.Go through the appointment report card first. Then listen again and complete it. Check the answers in class.(设计意图: 在做听力之前,先让学生通过阅读图片和卡片大致了解听力内容。在听的过程中训练学生抓住细节信息的能力。)4. Activity 5: Read and underline. Read aloud after the tape and then practice the dialogue in pairs. Get some pairs to
10、 act it out.Underline the sentences about illness and check in class. (设计意图:培养学生归纳总结的能力。通过两人练习对看病就医的句型进行模仿操练,为下一个活动做好铺垫。)5. Activity 6: Work in pairs to make dialogues about appointment. (设计意图: 模拟真实情景,两人小组就有关就医话题展开对话训练。)6. Activity 7: Role play.Role play a patients meeting with the doctor. Prepare i
11、n pairs. Then ask some pairs to act it out. If some Ss have difficulties, the teacher can give them some hints. (设计意图:通过创设情境,让学生分角色进行对话表演,既操练了语言知识,又锻炼了学生的胆量和口语表达能力。同时教师也可借此检查学生的掌握情况,以便教师在下一活动中进行调整。)Step Three Summary (6 mins)Make a short summary of what weve learned today.(1) Useful expressions: hav
