28、rolled cannot be operated until the lockout device is removed.Lockout device: A device that utilizes a positive means such as a lock to hold an energy-isolating device in a safe position and prevent a machine or equipment from energizing. Production Line: Refers to equipment within the production pr
29、ocess that prints, binds, trims, collates, or otherwise prepares material for final shipment to the customer. This includes but is not limited to, press lines, binding lines, tipper lines, inserter lines, folder lines, etc. RR Donnelley personnel: The term includes all employees of RR Donnelley, inc
30、luding full-time employees (FTE), term (including co-ops/interns), and part time. It also includes Supplemental Labor, guests, and participating guests. (See “contractor.”)Single hazardous energy point: A specific procedure for a machine tool, or lockout and tagout of a piece of equipment with only
31、one energy-isolating device that can be readily identified and isolated. For some equipment with only one energy-isolating device, a detailed written lockout and tagout procedure is not required. Tagout: The placement of a tagout device on an energy-isolation/control device in accordance with an est
32、ablished Energy Control Procedure.
