25、gentsMatsuitoolongLangandJapanesetroopsinthearmyassistantmilitaryofficerImaiWuFumetwithZhangZizhong,withoutsuccess.ChiangKai-shekandpeace,PingJinpublicopiniononcethatZhangZizhongasatraitor.August6,ZhangZizhong,deputylieutenantLiaoBaocheng,ZhouBaohenghidintheEastCrossingLaneHospitalofGermany;atthesam
26、etimethroughthePekingMorningNewsandothermediaissuedastatement,announcedtheresignationofallagents.8,Pekingfall.September3,ZhangZizhongfleeingPeiping.1938ZhangZizhonggeneralofthe77thArmy179teachersHeJiFengstationedinthePacific,theChiangKai-shekwasextremelydissatisfiedwiththenegativeresistancetothewar,
