College English (4 Credits )This course is an obligatory course orientated for the students of the non English majors students.Its Overall Expectations is to supply strong support for the students career development after graduation by laying a good language foundation, optimizing the study
6、methods, increasing cultural accumulation and developing the logical thinking ability. Through the course, the students have been taught fundamental knowledge (Common vocabulary, practical methods, text structure, language function and so on) in a systematic way and accepted the overall trainings of

The attention has been paid to the cultivation of communicative ability under the environment of global economy so as to effectively improve the abilities of the students in listening, speaking, reading and writing.2、复变函数Complex Variables Functions (3 学分)复变函数是高等数学在复数域的推广,研究对象是复自变量复值函数

36、、 数学模型Mathematics Model (2学分)数学建模是二十世纪八十年代初进入我国大学的一门新课, 其主要内容是通过众多的示例着重介绍如何将自然科学和社会科学诸领域的实际问题通过合理的假设和抽象“翻译”成数学问题,进而如何借助计算机进行求解,最后又如何依据计算结果对实际问题进行分析或预测。课堂讲授涉及简明的实际背景、合理的模型假设、有创意的模型构造及必要的模型检验,不会涉及太多的数学概念和繁琐的公式推导。旨在培养学生应用已学知识解决实际问题的能力。教学方式基本为“案例教学”。案例涉及自然科学、经济、军事、生态学和决策科学等。除课堂讲授外本课程还包含上机实践环节,培养学生应用常用数学
37、软件,如Matlab,Lindo,Sas,Spss等,解决实际问题的能力。14. Mathematical Model(2credits)Mathematical Modeling has been introduced into Chinese cuniversities as a new course since early 1980s. This course are mainly about how to translate an actual problem in natural and social sciences into a mathematical problem by r
38、ational hypothesis and abstract, how to get a solution of the mathematical problem by numerical simulation on a computer, and how to give an analysis or prediction of the considered problem based on the numerical results. It deals with the actual background, the rational model hypothesis, the origin
39、al model construction and necessary model validation, but not too many mathematical concepts and verbose mathematical formula are included. It aims to develop students ability to solve actual problem by using knowledge they have learn. The teaching method is basically “cases teaching”. These cases a
40、re chosen elaborately from natural, economic, military, ecological and decision-making sciences etc. Apart from teaching in class, it includes the numerical simulation experiment on computer. Students are encouraged to use mathematical software, such as Matlab, Lindo, SAS, SPSS, to finish their home

Computer Aided Instruction(2 credits)The Computer Aided instryction(CAI) is teaching activities with the assistant of computer (also called CAI). This course is a meth
47、od and techonology which uses conversational mode talking about the teaching content, arranging teaching process and do the teaching traning. CAI provides a good personal study phonomenen. It uses the multi-media, hyper text, artificial intelligence and knowledge base and other comoputer technique to conquer the disadvantages on traditonal teaching method. To use these techniques can shorten time to study, improve the quality of teaching and teaching efficiency to achive the optimization of teaching goal.
