2、,为学生学习高年级专业课程打下扎实的基础。二、课程教学的基本要求对英语专业本科学生而言,综合英语是一门最主要的课程。它是英语学习的核心,通过该课程的学习,学生应了解各类体裁的文章及英美等国家的文化,掌握全面的英语应用技能,具备综合运用语言知识的交际能力。教学的具体要求如下:1 语音: 能按照音标读出单词,发音正确;能朗读句子、课文及相应的课外短文,语音语调正确。2 词汇: 领会式掌握5000词汇及词组。对其中4000个单词及其常用词组要求能够熟练掌握,并用于英语语言交际实践中。3 语法;掌握基本语法规则,能解决阅读中较复杂的语法难题。4 听说:能够就某一话题开展全面的具有创造性和话语连贯性的语

3、言活动,并将语言知识、交际技能和教学技巧融为一体。5 阅读:掌握基本阅读技能,能借助词典顺利阅读并正确理解难度于课文内容相当的各种题材的文章,阅读速度达到每分钟60个词。 6 翻译:能将与课文难易程度相当的文章译成汉语,理解正确、完整、明了。 7 写作:掌握不同体裁文章(记叙文,议论文,应用文等)的写作格式, 做到语法正确,表达清晰,论点明确,有较强的思想性。 三、课程教学内容、重点和难点教学内容:本课程依据所选教材的内容并结合实际情况,因材施教,帮助学生掌握所选教材中涉及的词汇、词组、课文与语法知识,同时进行听说、阅读、写作训练,使学生全面掌握英语的各项基本技能。各学期的具体教学内容如下(注

18、ure Analysis, Writing and Listening Skills Training 四、课程各教学环节要求1. 课堂教学要求课堂教授中应注意知识的层层递进,具有连续性,语言点突出,讲解清晰准确,通过典型例句解释语言现象。课堂上,遵循精讲多练,以学生为主的原则,采取问答、复述、听写、讨论、演讲、表演等有利于学生学习英语并能激发学生对英语学习兴趣的多种课堂活动方式的结合,以便达到教学目的。2. 实践环节要求本课程以互动教学方式和任务型教学结合,课堂教学中穿插如讨论、演讲、模拟等各种学生为主体的课堂活动。 3. 作业要求学生需要完成所选教材中课后练习或综合训练;此外,为了帮助学生

19、提高听、说、读、写、译等技能,本课程应当着重培养学生的英语实际运用能力,适当增加口语、写作等作业的布置。4. 考核要求闭卷笔试。总评成绩为平时成绩占30%+期末考试70%。平时成绩包含了学生作业、课堂表现等方面的综合评分,期末考试主要考查课程教学的基本语言知识技能和词汇、语法、阅读、写作等综合英语应用能力。 五、学时分配综合英语授课四个学期,每周4学时,每学期64学时,总学时为256学时。由于教材章节较多,课堂时间有限,因此任课老师在集体备课和商讨的基础上,结合学生的实际情况,对教材的章节进行筛选,每学期重点讲授5-6单元,主要以TEXT I 为主,TEXT II 为辅,具体内容及学时数安排见
