1、近代中国知识分子体育思想演进的文化阐释摘 要：近代思想史研究领域的“文化工具性”理论分析范式，为考察知识分子群体体育思想演进提供了恰切的分析思路。研究认为：近代知识分子体育思想演进脉络呈现出明显的“工具化”特征。其一，在以“国家-体育”构建为目标的“富国强兵”阶段，呈现出了知识分子群体对体育功能认知的早期工具化倾向;其二，在“文明自觉”的反思阶段，知识分子群体对体育的认知实现了价值的突破，并开启了对体育文化工具性的理性反思;其三，在对本民族文化主体性反思的“文化自觉”阶段，知识分子群体体育思想则折射出追求现代民族国家文化认同的强烈工具性愿望。概而言之，文化的工具性构成近代知识分子群体体育思想演

Study suggests that the instrumentalization characteristics were significantly presented in every stage of the evolution of modern intellectual sports thought. Firstly， in the stage of enriching the state
5、 and strengthening the army with the goal of national-sports construction， it showed the early instrumental tendency on cognition of sports function of the intellectuals. Secondly， in the reflection stage of civilization consciousness， intellectuals cognition of sports achieved a breakthrough in val
6、ue and started to reflect on the instrumentality of sports culture. Thirdly， in the cultural consciousness stage of the reflection and practice of the national cultural subjectivity， the intellectual sports thought reflected the strong instrumental desire for the modern cultural identity of nations
7、and states. To be brief， the cultural instrumentality actually constitutes the internal driving force of the evolution of modern intellectual groups sports thoughts. 9、群体探索国家救亡与民族复兴的共同理论预设与内在逻辑遵循“文化的工具性” 3，为中国体育思想的深层解析提供了具体的理论分析框架。原因在于：“文化的工具性”构成中国近代本位文化论战的大背景，指将文化视为国家救亡与民族振兴的“工具”，强调文化的“工具效能”，尤其侧重对民族国家构建中的现实作用4。“文明自觉”与“文化自觉”是阐释“文化工具性”内在实践机制的一对重要概念。“文明自觉”侧重对其他文明主动学习接纳，而“文化自觉”则更为强调实现本民族的文化认同3。换言之，包含体育文化在内的各种文化形态内部均存在着“文明自觉”与“文化自觉”的内在张力。其在考验知识分子思想抉择的同时，也深层决定着文化的演进方向。故此，将近代体育思想演进的考察，纳入中国近代本土文化与外来文化论战的大背景之下，借助知识分子群体对体育文化的“文明自觉”与“文化自觉”间的内在博弈，诠释近代中国体育思想演进的内在逻辑，无疑具有良好的理论适用性。 第 4 页 共 4 页
