1、教学设计Book4 Unit 5 Into the UnkownPeriod 4 listening and speaking1. 教学内容分析听说部分包含一篇短文和一段访谈听力材料，短文介绍了人类大脑的相关事实和数据，让学生对人脑的功能和当前对人脑的研究情况有基本的了解。而采访介绍了科学家们探究与睡眠相关的各种奥秘。本板块帮助学生深度聚焦语言的意义和功能，通过真实语境下技能的综合训练，加深对单元主题的理解，提高综合语言运用能力。 2. 教学目标1） 了解人脑的相关事实和数据和当前人脑的研究情况；2） 明晰听力访谈的主题，边听边记笔记提取关键信息完成表格；3） 找出关于调查研究访谈相关的表达，
2、并运用到活动对话中；4） 点燃探索科学之谜的渴望，养成良好作息习惯。3.教学重点和难点教学重点：1） 提取听力的关键信息，找出与调查研究访谈相关的表达，能够运用到介绍睡眠奥秘的主题演讲之中；2） 小组合作进行角色扮演，揭秘恐龙灭绝之谜，要求学生做到将新旧知识融合，并准确运用所学呈现出来。教学难点：听力过程中快速准确提取信息；对恐龙灭绝的背景知识可能比较匮乏。4.教学过程StageTeachers activityPurposesActivity levelActivity 1Reading and thinking1.
