2、学生都能指认英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚四个国家相应的国旗,多数学生能用中文说出来这四个国家的首都并能在地图中指出来。本课中有关国籍的话题,在北师大版先锋英语第一册(二年级上册用书)Unit3 Whos that?一课的Learn to say板块中学习了这样的句型“This is Tommy. Hes from Britain.” “This is Cathy. Shes from Canada.” “This is Wang Ling. Shes from China.” “Thats Peter. Hes from America.”学生能用 “Hes/Shes from +国名(Bri
3、tain, Canada, China, America)”的形式简单介绍人物的国籍。能听懂Where is he/she from?, 但不能用其进行提问。 学生正式学习用where进行提问是在北京版义务教育教科书英语四年级下册(一年级起点)Unit3 Can you tell me the way? Lesson9的Listen, look and learn板块中,学习了“Where is the new library? Its in that building over there.”和Lesson10的Listen, look, and learn板块中学习了“Where can

Its right beside the grey building.”由以上两方面可以判断出,学生能听懂 “Where are you from?” 需要引起注意的是学生容易把以前学过的America(美国)和本课中的North America产生意义上的混淆。本课中教师主要采取的方法是让学生知道America等于the U.S.A., the U.S.A.是North America的一部分,除此外利用地图中的轮廓线帮学生理解他们之间的关系。3重点难点教学重点:1. 理解、朗读课文对话。2. 借助图片或板书介绍中国、美国、加拿大的首都、大城市和
5、所使用的语言等信息。教学难点:能仿照课文中的句子介绍中国、美国、加拿大的首都、大城市和所使用的语言等内容。4教学过程活动1【导入】1. 猜谜游戏,热身导入教师说谜语,学生边听边猜。T: It has cities, but there are not any houses in them. It has forests, but there are not any trees in them. It has rivers, but there is not any water in them. Its a piece of paper. It can help us to find place
