1、Unit 6 Adventures教学设计The main activities are 2a 2b and 10a 10b. 本课重点活动是2a 2b和10a 10b。一、教学目标1.知识目标:本节课要求学生能听说认读单词born和短语worryingabout/is good at/are proud of;复习句型Im afraid ofIm not afraid of,并能在实际生活中自如地运用这些句型。2.能力目标:通过任务活动,培养学生主动思维、实践探究的学习能力。3.情感目标:结合实际生活,引导学生关注生活,激发学习兴趣和热情,提高学习的积极性和主动性。二、教学重难点教学重点:单
2、词born和短语worryingabout/is good at/are proud of的认读;句型Im afraid ofIm not afraid of的运用。教学难点:如何结合实际生活,创设大量真实、生动的语言环境,拓展学生对句型Im afraid ofIm not afraid of的运用。能否让学生学以致用是本课教学成败的关键。三、教学过程Teaching aids 教具录音机/图片/小黑板/单词卡片Warmming Up:(播放关于冒险的英文歌曲,激发学生兴趣)(名言引述)The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life
3、 of your dreams.人生最大的冒险莫过于过自己梦想的生活。T:First now , lets warmming-up.Lets review some old words,lets read together. Look at some pictures ,please read it stand-up.T:What can you see in the pictures?(出示:be afraid of ,be proud of)Step1 Presentation 第一步 呈现(时间:15分钟)呈现2a 2b。(老师呈现单词卡片或幻灯片,进行问答练习,学习新单词。)(讲述Bi
4、ll现在的状况,引出之前的Bill,倒叙介绍)T:Bill was very tall and strong.He is good at swimming,and he isnt afraid of swimming in the sea.He is a good swimmer in Australia.His parents are proud of him!学生打开课本,带着问题Whosthestoryabout?自主阅读两端文本,初步了解大意。老师适时教授bornto;(让学生听的录音并回答黑板上的问题。)T:Ten years ago,Bill was born to a farme

(举着ago的卡片。)Ss:Ago.(帮助学生回答。)(分析Ten years ago)表示在过去某个时间里所发生的动作或存在的状态。常和明确的过去时间状语连用。Ago与现在相关,从现在往前算有多久,也常与一般过去时连用,如:two days ago,a week ago等。(句子示范)It wasnt long agothat I saw her. 不久前我还见过她。(让学生两人一组观察句子,试着朗读,发现was的用法。)He was short and thin at your age.He was ofen ill.He was afraid of dogs.He
6、was afraid of getting into the water.His parents were always worrying about him. (句式变化) Be动词在一般过去时中的变化(表状态)am ,is过去式为was,带有was的句子,即:主语+ was/ were+ 表语例子:I was late yesterday. 昨天我迟到了。(重点单词&短语,要求记忆)was; afraid of;worry about.Im afraid of Im not afraid of .(dogs 狗 swimming 游泳)T: Listen to 1a carefully a
7、nd find out the answers to these questions.(板书)(1) What Bill was afraid of?(2) What Bill isnt afraid of?(3) Why his parents are proud of him?(播放录音)(核对答案。)T:OK. Are you ready? Ss:Yes.T: Lets check the answers. The first question, who can answer it?T: Yeah, very good. The second one?教师适时教授相关内容:beafrai
8、dof,begoodat,worryabout,beproudof再次播放录音,要求学生逐句朗读,并适时教授一般过去时、一般现在时的正确表达方式。(对比)一般现在时要和现在的时间相联系,而一般过去时和说话的“现在”没有联系。一般过去时表示:过去某个特定时间发生,并且一下子就完成了的动作(即:非持续性动作),也可以表示;过去习惯性的动作,一般过去时不强调动作对现在的影响,只说明过去。句式:主语+过去动词+其他I had a word with Julia this morning.今天早晨,我跟朱丽亚说了几句话.Lei Feng was a good soldier.雷锋是个好战士.(口诀记忆)
9、一般过去时并不难,表示过去动作、状态记心间;动词要用过去式,时间状语句末站;最后一点请注意,动词过去式要牢记。Step2 Consolidation 第二步 巩固(时间:15分钟)学习10a和10b。1. (让学生听10a,跟读,并标出语音和语调。)T: Listen to 10a, follow it and mark the pronunciation and intonation.2. (朗读10a,并核对语音和语调。)T: Read 1a loudly and check the pronunciation and intonation.3. (让学生看图片和所给信息, 完成答案。)T
10、: Look at the pictures and information in 10b, and practice the dialog with your partner.1.My home town was very (beautiful),but now it isnt.2.The sky was (biue)30 years ago,but now it is always (grey).3.There were many (trees) in my home town.but now there arent.And the hills are no longer (green).
11、Step 3 Review 第三步 复习(时间:7分钟)通过复习, 导入afraidof。T: This is my friend-Tom. Now Im Tom. Im from America. I like adventures. Do you want to know about me?引出生词afraid , 句型Im afraid of /dogs/the cold. Im not afraid of swimming/ the cold.Listen again and check.Work in pairs.Im afraid ofIm not afraid ofShow in
12、 groups.T: Are you afraid of English?P1: Yes, I am.P2: No, Im not.I like English.Im not afraid of English.Im not afraid of listening to English.Im not afraid of talking in English.What about you?
