Surf the Internet and find more differences between US English and British English.Teaching aids 教学准备(含板书设计)教学准备:图片、词汇卡、多媒体板书设计: Unit 5 Signsmetro underground ( the UK ) ir: bird dirty girl shirt subway ( the US ) skirt 说课: 作为第五单元最后一个课时,本课的主要教学内容是Sound time, Culture time和Checkout time. 课程伊始依然是利用图片呈现的公园场景对所学的公共标识进行复习,然后由同样场景引出Sound time。该板块尽量以学生为主体,先让学生读小诗和读例词感悟字母组合的发音规律,然后应用这一规律找到其他含有这个组合的单词。本课的Culture time意在引起学生关注英式英语和美式英语的不同之处,但是因为该板块不宜深度挖掘,所以教师呈现了一些相同单词在英式英语和美式英语中的不同拼法或不同用词,既点到为止又是适当拓展。为了更好地过渡到Checkout time板块,教师将其中的draw and say 稍作变化,请学生根据PPT呈现的地铁上的不当行为图片设计标识,然后展开问答,这样的安排使练习与生活联系更紧密。
