Out of hand这个词组字面上是手的外面的意思。假如什么东西跑到了我们手掌的外面，那就很难被限制了。所以这个短语在口语表达中，就可以表示无法限制的意思。在中文里面，限制的近义词可以是驾驭，既在手掌中握着，看来汉语和英语也是有许多异曲同工之处的。例如在某次过往考试的Task5中，女生担忧她的学习小组每次见面时只是闲聊而不学习，去找她的教授商议对策。教授建议他们不要每个星期都是星期五下午会面，因为那时候大家都起先迎接周末了，会很疲惫，而是换个时间见面。但是女生说：Although things have gotten so out
10、 of hand that Im not sure changing days would help.但是事态已经无法限制了，我不觉得换时间能够有所帮助。2.Cross my mind字面意义上，cross是穿过的意思，而mind是思维、想法的意思。Cross my mind就字面上变成了穿过我的想法。而在实际口语表达中，这个短语表示的是想过、想起来的概念。比如曾经在一道题中出现这样的表达：That thought did cross my mind.的确我有过那个想法。类似的表达方式还有come to (my) mind, 例如：I tried to think about a good s

I rest my case.这是律师在法庭上耍酷时用的一句话。想表达的意思是我觉得我已经完全证明白我是对的，无需再说别的什么了。比如，在法庭上，律师可以说：Your honor, I think Ive said more than enough to prove that the defendant is clearly guilty. I rest my case.法官大人，我想我的表达已经充分证明白被告是有罪的。无需再说什么。再过

13、o be a huge disappointment.结果这部电影极其令人悲观。5.Safe我们知道的safe，意思是平安、不受威逼。事实上，在日常生活中，safe的意思则要广泛许多。比如，在一套曾经考题的Task 3中，学生提议要把校内中停放的一些自行车移除，因为其中大部分自行车很明显已经被车主遗弃了。男生提出了反对看法，但是女生列举了一些缘由，比如许多车已经缺失了零部件，或者已经锈迹斑斑，所以她觉得：I think its probably a safe assumption.我觉得这是个很合理的假设。所以在这种语境里面，safe的意思是unlikely to produce contro
14、versy or contradiction.同样地，我们也可以用safe或者safely来形容decision, conclusion, bet等等。例如：Given that the population is still growing, we can safely assume that the house prices are still going to increase.鉴于人口仍在上升，我们完全可以假设房价还会再涨。托福口语考试常见的6种语法错误1.动词原形做主，宾，表，宾补等名词性的成分。例如：Swim is my favorite sport. My goal is to pass the exam(留意goal, purpose, dream 等词表示尚未实现的动作，要用不定式).2.There be 和 has用法混淆。例如：There have a lot of trees in the park.改正为：There are a lot of trees in the park. 或者The park has a lot of trees in it.3.可数名词单独运用。例如：Cellphone is useful. I like pl
16、aying computer game.可数名词单数不要单独运用哦，可以改为复数指类别，如：Cellphones are useful. I like playing computer games. 也可以在单数可数名词前加上限定词如this，that;代词全部格如 his, her; 或者加上冠词the, a, an.4.主谓不一样。例如：She dont know what to do.动词的三单形式最是简单被忽视，改正为：She doesnt know what to do.5.比较级乱用。例如：Biking is more healthier than driving a car. I
17、t is more easy to search information online.不要笑，每三个学生就有一个常犯这样的错误。改为：Biking is healthier than driving a car. It is easier to search information online.6.一个句子里有多个动词。例如：I want go to bed. I like dance and sing.留意，一个句子里只能有一个谓语动词。所以要把多余的那个换成非谓语的形态哟I want to go to bed. I like dancing and singing.在此建议大家要多给自
